Strict Safety Measures For Singapore Cabin Crew

in Education3 years ago

In Singapore, we are not encouraged to travel for leisure but there are many who travel due to work.

The Cabin Crew would need to adapt to new norm to ensure the safety of everyone on board.

The Cabin Crews are grouped by cabin to reduce contact with other Cabin Crews.

Cabin Crews would need to wear disposable gloves before serving food to passengers.

Food is now served as a set on a tray rather than distributing food items individually.

Crews that travel frequently would be tested for Covid-19 every two weeks.

When they need to stay overnight at a location, they would be given assigned transport and hotel to prevent other unnecessary contact.

They would have to remain in the room at all time.

For foreign Cabin Crews, they were assigned Crowne Plaza Hotel at Terminal 3 in Singapore.

The entrance of the hotel has signboard to direct foreign crews and they would be allocated exclusive floors with rooms that were set aside just for them.

Travelling is no longer as easy as the past with the safety norms but these rules are implemented to safeguard the health of everyone.
