Mr Hennessy was well-known for being the strictest teacher in his school.
He was very frank when he said that he was interested in teaching because of the long holidays.
Before entering into the teaching profession, many would not expect that teachers had many other duties on top of their teaching load.

Regardless of his strictness, Mr Hennessy feels an obligation to help his students to achieve their GCSE’s.
Lean was a student who had not been attending school regularly. He was concerned that she was not able to cope with her studies due to her poor attendance.
He had to call Lean regularly to ensure she came to school and it really could test our patience with such students who did not treat education seriously.
We can see how fearless students can be even when they are in the wrong and they are not afraid of teachers.
Mr Hennessy definitely has his heart to help these students like Lean so that they would be able to get as many qualifications as possible to cope with a competitive corporate world in future.
Education may not be the only way for success but it is definitely one of the best ways to secure a brighter future in a unpredictable changing global society.
