Greetings and welcome again dear readers of the #Hive platform and especially to all those users who make life in the @Education community, continuing with the fundamentals and advances at the environmental level developed in my blog, in this installment we will address some basic principles behind sustainability from the approach that can generate women as actors of change in different aspects of our society.

In this sense, it is to assume a fundamental and key role of women in the current transitions at the environmental level that are driven throughout the world, where creative aspects and leadership should empower the personal and environmental development of the women of our planet.

Accordingly, the initiative taken by the Women's Institute in conjunction with the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge of Spain, has managed to establish timely protocols in order to reinforce gender equality as a guiding principle in all human activities.

The fundamental idea of the initiative is to develop sustainable patterns from the perspective of women, where it is necessary to achieve greater participation of women in the momentum that our planet needs, for this it is imperative to work in a coordinated manner and achieve training, awareness and training in order to build interdisciplinarity on issues related to the environment and sustainable development.

Undoubtedly, it is necessary to achieve that a greater number of women get hold of the fundamental tools that allow them to participate individually and collectively in issues related to climate change, loss of biodiversity, the greenhouse effect, among other problems that can be addressed from a different perspective than the one assumed by the male species that has taken us so long to generate real changes.

In this sense, the unification of the ministries will facilitate the development of methodological guidelines and new strategies for the acquisition of skills and strategies to mitigate the problems that are evident on our planet. The fundamental objective of this initiative is to achieve an active participation in conditions of equality, where women will be the new protagonists of the world scenario in ecological issues and planetary preservation.

Thus, it is timely to achieve greater female presence in topics of scientific interest with practical contributions that allow us to generate real results in areas associated with renewable energies and indiscriminate use of natural resources.

Undoubtedly, it is an arduous task but we must achieve an active and timely participation of women in these areas if we want to promote a true environmental transformation.
