Yes. It's begging. But not in a bad way at all times.
When one puts it there, it's not supposed to be abused.
Not everyone uses it unless maybe one asks for your link so that he or she can reblog or upvote
For your own good, don't even put it. Don't please. Generally, it's frowned up and some consider it a form of spam. That you are looking for attention unnecessarily. Let your quality post and engagement beg for you. Pls don't put it in any way.
