Maybe the latest push is about more than fossil fuels. What if it is an attack on Bitcoin and any proof of work cryptos?

At a time oil and gas prices are skyrocketing due to policies and actions that any person that applies a little common sense should realize would lead to increase prices it is also a time when brown outs and inability to supply electricity are mounting.

It is a time when pushes to end gas powered cars are in the works while the same people put ban on using electricity so you can't charge your electric car.

They are making the people hurt. It is making some people see through the B.S. It is not something that in the long run seems sustainable.

What if bitcoin and other proof of work cryptos are one of the targets?

What kind of sentiment might they be able to get from the people during a time when there seems to be insufficient electricity?

Might they be able to convince the populace to attack bitcoin and proof of work more thoroughly?

I can see it now...

"If we can shut down the big bitcoin mining operations there will be plenty of energy!!"

Is this partially a push to attack crypto?

All cryptos move closely with bitcoin. If they can damage it enough it also erodes the confidence in other crypto currencies.

Will cryptos ultimately survive? I do believe blockchain technology and crypto currencies are here to stay as long as we have electricity AND internet. Yet that doesn't mean they will be popular. It doesn't mean they might not become black market and illegal.

To get there they need to keep drumming of hate for crypto currencies.

Could that be one of their targets with this drive to cause all kinds of energy shortages and problems?

The energy scarcity is 100% artificial. It does not need to exist.

These are just some things I was pondering today as I was reading the news.

This is what I was reading when these thoughts came into my mind...

I do not believe T.H.E.Y. were planning that, but they will take whatever they can get.

The power outages make no sense. We have less people, using less electricity than last year and... serious scheduled black outs.

We've known we need more electricity decades ago... has anything been done about it?

So, it appears the plan is to keep electricity in the minds of people as a scarce commodity.
And force people into scarcity mindset, and buckle under whatever the govern-cement rolls out.

Bitcoin is actually creating electricity where it was not before.
By being the first user in areas that are difficult to build out in.
Bitcoin miners are also using excess electricity balancing power loads.

So, i can understand T.H.E.Y. using the rhetoric you listed, but it is all false.
I believe, and hope, that truth will win out.

And one of my first posts was how to make clean electricity, especially suited for California.

They will also shut down mining if need be. I wasn't saying it was real. I was mainly thinking they will use it as an excuse.

Yeah. I don't directly think this was a goal. I would be completely unsurprised if they use it as an excuse to further attack crypto. "We can't cool these houses, but you are mining bitcoin!! How dare you!?!?"
