Most likely the garbage equipment Russian forces are known for is just going to contribute to a massive amount of casualties.

Precisely. Hope they do not remember russians are used to winter weather.
Russians can be used to winter weather all you want if you don't have the properly equipped soldiers you're going to have a massive amount of frostbite hypothermia and deaths associated.
Kind of like the beginning of this conflict when Russian soldiers were sent into combat with no cold weather gear. As well as being poorly equipped and not set up right the first two huge retreats by the Russians was more because the cold was their biggest enemy. Ukrainian forces were fighting back however the cold did way more damage.
All this talk about Russians being used to the cold really isn't going to help them survive.
If you have huge retreats? The war is not going to go very well.
We will see personally first news I had of this work I thought Russian military superiority was going to have the country crushed in a week. I actually follow this more because I was wrong.
I sure wonder how that's going to work out with sanctions being in place and absolutely no Nations willing to fly into Russia or allow Russian flights to land at their airports...
