Well I have been saying this for a while that with this OnStar system is really a very double edged sword.
Absolutely you can completely shut down a bank robber or felon. You can just turn the car off however now please have more control over you and your movements.
If you get attacked by a police officer now they can just disable your vehicle system and you can't even drive away.
Mass amount of abuse of power that this gives the police is not worth any of the positives.
However corporate America is moving slowly to more totalitarianism and built-in systems so not only does that car have the ability to turn off but also it can track you as well as record video and audio inside the cabin as well as around vehicle.
So not to mention your phone is always spying on you and on top of it your computer is also spying..
And now you're driving around a mobile sensor tracking system. On top of this they should pay you to own this vehicle because of all these things rather than actually having to charge a price for it but it is crazy what kind of world we live in.

The technology is out there. It's just what humans are going to do with our technology.
However it is real and it's in our face.
