As I write this, a recovery from the largest Facebook crash in its short history is underway. Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp have been down for more than six hours, and Messenger has not been recovered yet…

Despite the fact that the first thought was that it was a massive attack on Facebook, the first analysis shows that it was probably a mistake within the system and not a malicious attack.

Наравно, победоносно су се јавили и они који су најављивали гашење или пропаст Интернета, али… то се – морам рећи, нажалост – неће догодити. Овакав централизовани Интернет у данашњем облику, војни је пројекат и неће намерно бити угашен. Немојте се бојати његове пропасти, јер алтернатива у виду децентрализованог Интернета већ постоји. Да, то је Хајв, ви сте већ на њој.

Дакле, Интернет какав досад познајемо, сигурно неће бити искључен намерно. А да ли је могуће да је ово био намеран слом у циљу оправдавања и објављивања кибернетског рата против сила у успону? Могуће је, видећемо. Али ако неко заиста нападне терористичко-технолошке корпорације које држе монопол на централизованом Интернету и потпуно их онеспособи, тога не треба да се бојите, већ треба да се обрадујете том тренутку. Изгубићете само плави палац, а добићете назад своју слободу.
