I have quite a few Australian friends and none of them support this. It is because of this that they are contemplating not returning to their home country for the holidays this year. On the other side, some of my Aussie friends have family members that are living in Australia and have never spent much time out of it that are on the side of the government as far as all of this goes and this is a notion that I simply cannot understand.

It's called "Statism" the most deadly religion.

Oh I agree. I just find it alarming to see there are some people that are OK with it and even support it. I certainly don't.

All men are disposed to suffer while evils are sufferable, rather than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they have become accustomed..
