A Personal Note -- The New Socialism, the Death of Jimi Hendrix, and More

As many of my friends and supporters have probably noticed, I haven’t been posting much lately. The fact is that I probably don’t have a lot of time left and I feel really weak most of the time. I visited my doctor just over a week ago and he informed me that I’m in the final stage of COPD and coupled with diabetes and congestive heart failure I probably don’t have much time left. His words were: “If you have a basket list, you better get busy on it.” I don’t mind dying, I just don’t want to feel like shit while I’m doing it. I had envisioned myself in the hospital tapping away on a borrowed laptop, but at this point that seems unrealistic. What I despise is feeling weak all of the time, some days just sitting up seems like a day’s work.

There’s another health issue as well, one that I call “the sickness.” It hits every month or two, but has become more prevalent. If you’ve ever experienced something similar please let me know, my doctor is baffled. It begins with chills followed by uncontrollable shaking, almost like a seizure -- I can’t control my hands even to use the mouse to log out of my computer. I go to bed fully dressed and pile on the covers. After an hour or two the shaking stops and I fall asleep. I wake up a few hours later with nausea that lasts well into the next day. This is followed by a week or two of profound fatigue and weakness, that’s the worst part. LIke I said, I don’t mind dying, it happens to everybody but I don’t want to go out like that.

I want to thank all of the friends and supporters I’ve made, first on Steemit and now on Hive. I’ve never viewed myself as much of a writer, but I enjoy it and you guys make me feel like I’ve accomplished something, so thank you. I especially want to thank @v4vapid and the guys at @deepdives for giving me a platform. There are too many people for me to name them all but @krnel, @stevescoins, @dwinblood, @paolobeneforti, @silviabeneforti, @canadian-coconut, @meesterboom (for his incredible wit and humor), @haejin, the guys at @informationwar, and many many others, if I missed someone, I apologize, it wasn’t intentional -- God bless you all whether you like it or not. I still have a lot left to say and I’m not sure if I’m capable of my usual lengthy diatribes so maybe I’ll cobble some ideas together. One thing I want to address is the New Socialism.

The New Socialism

This is something that confounded me for a long time: Why would major corporations, the bastions of capitalism, embrace Socialism? It made no sense to me until recently. Under a purely Socialist paradigm, as we all know, the state owns the means of production, but more importantly there is no competition. Conversely, under a Capitalist or market economy there is only competition with no state interference. In the current mixed economy competition exists, tempered by state intervention. In this context, it made little or no sense for major corporations to embrace Socialism until John D. Rockefeller’s words came to mind: “Competition is a sin.”

With the state exerting more and more control over competition, wealthy corporations have used their political influence to quash competition in their favor and to the detriment of smaller businesses. This has little to do with Socialism per se, and everything to do with controlling competition -- those who grease the most political palms are the ones in control. A major impetus behind the lockdowns during the Covid scamdemic was to help destroy small businesses and to curtail innovation. It was only the major corporations that were awarded bailout money while small businesses struggled and often failed.

This is all about money and control. The state controls competition and the corporations control the state. Our elected officials no longer represent the people who voted them in, but represent the corporations who use their foundations, political action committees (PACs) and other NGOs to control the outcome of elections. The voter fraud that became apparent during the 2020 presidential election has been going on at the Congressional level for decades. It’s easier to mask corruption at that level than on a national level. The faux-socialism being supported by corporations and the political elite is merely an attempt to destroy small businesses -- which provided 65% of employment before Covid -- in favor of multinational corporations. This is why you see corporations such as Walmart behind the lockdowns and other draconian mandates. Their support of Antifa and BLM was to create chaos and throw the election.

I’m afraid that the real Socialists, those who believe in Socialism are going to feel disappointed and ill-used when all of this plays out. The workers and other oppressed people that they represent have no place in the corporate paradigm. This neo-socialism, or Rockefeller Socialism is a relationship between corporations and the state that will allow the corporations to exploit the workers creating a veritable slave class. The corporations and mass media continue to present this as a racial or class struggle based on the phony left/right paradigm. In reality there is only freedom and totalitarianism and a few insignificant shades in between. Ultimately Socialism, Communism, Fascism, and Statism produce only one thing, total state control -- or totalitarianism/authoritarianism. Any differences are merely distinctions without any substantive differences.

M H Chaos, Kent State, and the Death of Jimi Hendrix

In the late 1960s, in addition to the FBI’s COINTELPRO operation, the CIA ran a similar project at the behest of LBJ called M H Chaos that targeted leftist groups and other dissidents. “Are you a Targeted Individual? The CIA formed a Domestic Operations Division in 1964. In 1965, President Lyndon Johnson requested that the CIA begin its own investigation into domestic dissent—independent of the FBI's ongoing COINTELPRO.”

https://freemantv.com/cia-domestic-operations-mh-chaos-dr-eric-karlstrom/

Many of us are familiar with the official narrative surrounding the death of Jimi Hendrix, that he choked on his own vomit and suffocated. However, the facts including the testimony of the attending physician tell a different story and with Hendrix’s new found political affiliations a new picture begins to emerge.

Hendrix had begun making large contributions to the Black Panthers and had done benefit concerts for Bobby Seales’ legal defense along with benefits for the Chicago 7. He had also made several statements about an upcoming race war which was likely what put him on the FBI and CIA’s radar. His manager, Michael Jeffrey, was an MI-6 agent, a member of British Military Intelligence who also had ties to the mob making him a perfect intermediary for the CIA’s Operation Underworld which was a relationship between the Agency and the Mafia that went back to WWII when they were still OSS. This made Hendrix a prime candidate for the M H Chaos program.

“Operation MH/CHAOS was the code name for a domestic espionage project conducted by the Central Intelligence Agency in the late 1960s and early 1970s. MH/CHAOS: The CIA’s Campaign Against the Radical New Left and the Black Panthers is an insider’s account of the CIA’s Counterintelligence Staff’s Special Operations Group first charged by Presidents Lyndon Johnson and later by Richard Nixon to find foreign intelligence, terrorist, organizations or government contacts, controlling or influencing Anti-Vietnam War activists or American black extremists protesting, bombing and carrying out other anti-government, unlawful or illegal activities in the United States.”

https://www.usni.org/press/books/mhchaos

The involvement of Hendrix’s manager in the intelligence community and his ties to the Mafia, who had a lot of control over the music industry at the time, make it almost certain that Hendrix’s death was anything but an accident. It’s a fact that the CIA doesn’t work inside of the US, however, 95% of CIA operations are carried out by contractors who are not burdened by the same constraints. When Hendrix died the mainstream media immediately launched a malicious disinformation campaign claiming that Hendrix died of a heroin overdose suggesting a cover-up of the truth. The fact is, very little of the official account of Hendrix’s death is truthful.

“He didn't die from a drug overdose. He was not an out-of-control dope fiend. Jimi Hendrix was not a junkie. And anyone who would use his death as a warning to stay away from drugs should warn people against the other things that killed Jimi—the stresses of dealing with the music industry, the craziness of being on the road, and especially, the dangers of involving oneself in a radical, or even unpopular, political movements.”

Hendrix’s “girlfriend” -- likely his handler working for Michael Jeffrey -- at the time was Monika Dannemann, a failed model. She claims to have been there and was the one that summoned emergency services. However, when emergency services showed up she was nowhere to be found making her claim that she rode in the ambulance a complete fabrication (as was most of her story). She was to do an interview in the 1990’s telling the truth but she mysteriously died just before the interview. This happened to most of the people close to Hendrix including Jeffrey who died in an airplane crash in 1973. This has all of the earmarks of a CIA operation. It was Hendrix’s own words, however, that made him a target.

“Agents of the pathologically nationalistic FBI opened a file on Hendrix in 1969 after his appearance at several benefits for "subversive" causes. His most cutting insult to the state was participation in a concert for Jerry Rubin, Abbie Hoffman, Tom Hayden, Bobby Seale and the other defendants of the Chicago Seven conspiracy trial,(2) "Get [the] Black Panthers," he told a reporter for a teen magazine, "not to kill anybody, but to scare [federal officials]....I know it sounds like war, but that's what's gonna have to happen. It has to be a war....You come back to reality and there are some evil folks around and they want you to be passive and weak and peaceful so that they can just overtake you like jelly on bread....You have to fight fire with fire."

Within two years after the FBI opened a file, Hendrix was dead. Not from choking on his own vomit but from effectively from being “waterboarded” with red wine. The attending physician -- whose report was ignored -- found that his lungs and stomach were full of red wine yet his blood alcohol level was within legal parameters indicating that he died before his system absorbed the wine… Hendrix drowned. “Dr. Bannister reports that after the esophagus had been cleared, "masses" of red wine were "coming out of his nose and out of his mouth." The wine gushing up in great volume from Hendrix's lungs "is very vivid because you don't often see people who have drowned in their own red wine. He had something around him—whether it was a towel or a jumper—around his neck and that was saturated with red wine.”

I recommend reading this link in its entirety. I found many similar but this was the most comprehensive by far. It causes one to pause and think about just how far the intelligence agencies -- who all work in concert with one another -- would go to achieve their objectives. Although the CIA isn’t supposed to operate within the US boundaries they have contractors, “assets,” who do and they also have the assistance of their sister agencies such as the FBI, NSA, and currently the Dept. of Homeland Security. Could the tragedy at Kent State University have been avoided, or was it another M H Chaos operation?

How do we actually know that the National Guardsmen at Kent St. were all National Guard? It’s entirely possible that at least one of them were CIA assets who were there to discourage student protests by killing protestors. By this point the radicals were winning hearts and minds, the war in Vietnam was growing less popular by the day, and the intelligence agencies were in a panic.

“On April 30, 1970, President Richard Nixon announced the invasion of Cambodia, a country which remained neutral during the Vietnam War. The announcement was met with a surge in anti-war protests across the country including on college campuses like Kent State University. Following President Nixon’s announcement, an anti-war rally was held on the Commons on Friday May 1. Protestors delivered anti-war speeches and one demonstrator even buried a copy of the Constitution to symbolize the Nixon Administration’s disregard for the historical document.”

“On Saturday May 2, the Ohio National Guard was ordered to duty at the university by Governor Rhodes following a request from Kent Mayor Satrom who feared that so-called radicals would destroy the city. Later that evening the ROTC building went up in flames and radical protestors were blamed for causing the fire. However, it is unknown to this day who the real perpetrators were. By Sunday May 3, nearly 1,000 National Guard troops were present on the campus. Photographs of the university at the time resemble that of a war zone rather than an educational institution. In the morning, Governor Rhodes visited Kent State and held a press conference where he expressed disdain for the anti-war protestors. Due to the nature of the governor’s speech, it was then assumed that all protests and demonstrations were banned.”

Given what we know now about how the government operates, this has all of the earmarks of a false flag operation by one or more of the US security agencies. By 1970 the FBI’s COINTELPRO operation had successfully infiltrated many of the radical student and dissident groups, so the likelihood of the fire at the ROTC building being set by a government asset trying to stir things up is not beyond the realm of possibility. Subsequently, neither were the shootings.

Perhaps the only hero in this fiasco was a geology professor named Glenn Frank whose actions on May 4 1970 likely saved hundreds of lives. In the aftermath he began his own investigation that continued for the rest of his life, an investigation picked up by his son Alan who was a student during the protests. In an interview with investigative journalist Taylor Hudak he revealed the results of his own investigation.

“AF: I’m wondering, you know, if it was a false flag operation or something like that. I’m not saying the CIA did this, but the CIA had a program called Chaos. And the FBI also had a program called COINTELPRO. So both of them had counterintelligence programs. Every military intelligence group had people that would try to infiltrate the radical groups.”

The FBI report after 51 years is still redacted. Photos of some of the “protestors,” easily distinguished from students by their sport coats and ties, have their faces blocked by magic markers. Also, as it was with the death of Jimi Hendrix, great effort was expended by the FBI and other authorities to smear the victims of the National Guard murders, obviously an attempt to exonerate law enforcement.

Part of the undercover law enforcement presence was a group of 32 federal agents from several agencies nicknamed the “Mod Squad,” whose names were redacted in the official report except one DEA agent named Reinhold Mohr. Mohr approached the VVAW (Vietnam Veterans Against the War) and suggested that they “start killing pigs,” and other people.

“AF: His name is Ron Reinhold Mohr. And Reinhold Mohr told people at the VVAW, Vietnam Vets Against the War, that they should kill some pigs. And they said, really? He said he had an automatic AK-47 and a grenade launcher. And they said, oh, gosh, you know, why don’t you bring them over so we can take a look at them? In the meantime, they contacted the Kent Police, the city police, and they said we got this nut case that’s saying that we should kill pigs. And one of the people that he had talked about was a guy named Willie. Willie was a big, heavyset black guy who is the most wonderful person. I mean, if anybody ever hurt him, whether it was radicals or whatever, they would have been wiped out. The students would be angry because Willie was just a wonderful person.”

https://www.globalresearch.ca/new-leaked-documents-related-kent-state-may-4th-shootings-raise-serious-questions/5744525

Mohr was obviously one of the government agitators. Given this we can only surmise what the other 31 members of the “Mod Squad” were doing there. The entire narrative espoused by the government after the murders of the students is full of inconsistencies and outright lies, one of which is that the National Guard felt threatened because the protestors were within six inches of the soldiers. The ballistics report, however, showed that the closest protestor, Jeffrey Miller was 270 feet away when he was shot and killed. Alan Frank witnessed the shootings from a distance of about 50-75 feet away and testified that the students were nowhere near the Guardsmen, certainly not six inches.

“AF: No, no. Well, to say that the Guard felt that they had to fire to extricate themselves doesn’t match with my experience. No way. I was one of the closest people to them. I would guess 50 to 75 feet away because we were walking just in front of them. But Joe Lewis, a protestor, was giving them the finger. Larry Shafer is the only guardsmen who admitted to shooting someone, and he shot Joe Lewis. And he said that this guy (Lewis) was approaching him. He (Shafer) said he couldn’t see what was in his left hand and in his right hand he was giving him the bird. Reports are that he was anywhere between 60 and 71 feet away when Shafer fired. Apparently, he shot him twice, once in the leg and once in the groin. And the story that I had heard was that he (Shafer) bragged about it. And a couple of people fired their shotguns. James Russell was hit by a shotgun around 350 feet away. Another friend of mine said that he was up on the railing at Taylor Hall, and there are a lot of people at Taylor Hall, but they fired down into the parking lot. The closest person was Jeffrey Miller who was 270 feet away. Sandy and Bill were, I think, 390 feet away when they were killed. And Allison was 330 feet away. So there’s absolutely no way that these people were a danger to anybody.”

https://www.globalresearch.ca/new-leaked-documents-related-kent-state-may-4th-shootings-raise-serious-questions/5744525

THis was a government sanctioned murder at both the federal and state levels. If it was simply a case of untrained National Guard soldiers becoming afraid for their own safety and opening fire there would be no reason to censor and redact the official report. Had the agitators been someone other than agents provocateurs working on behalf of the government their names and photos would have been released, yet after 51 years they’re still being covered up.

The late 1960s and early 70s were a time filled with drug-fueled protests across the country. Ironically, it was the CIA that provided most of the drugs that drove the protest movement, the very “threat” that the CIA and other agencies were so concerned about -- concerned enough to infiltrate the movements be it the Black Panthers, Weather Underground, or others. In any case the official narrative provided via the mainstream media seldom reflects the truth. The murder of Jimi Hendrix and the students at Kent State will likely never be solved, lost in the fog of history. The one thing that the government counts on is that people are willing to move on, captured by the next news cycle. It’s how they escape accountability, depending on the short attention span of the American public.

In closing I want to thank all of the people that have supported me for the last 4-5 years on Steemit and Hive. Please forgive me if I didn’t mention you by name, there are too many people to count and I’m grateful to everyone. I intend to keep writing as much as I can until I’m unable to do it anymore. I encourage everyone to keep writing and keep fighting -- if good people do nothing evil will prevail. The more people that reveal the truth, the louder our voice becomes. Also remember, you don’t have to be William Faulkner to have a voice, if I can do it then anyone can. The world is counting on us all and we’re running out of time.

Sort:

You've been one of the stalwarts of sanity, intelligence and integrity on this platform sir, ever since I've been here, I think.

I can only give you my support through these words, but my 100% support you most certainly have.
The very best of everything positive, matey - and the every best of what any luck can offer you right now.

It's been an honor, and a privilege, to read your work.
Thanks.

Thank you my friend. All I've ever cared about is bring the truth to people. I intend to write as many articles as I can in the time I have left. The honor and privilege is mine to be associated with people of your caliber.

Dude, you are a fucking awesome writer. You have a knack. I hope you get some strength through some means and go on like you envisaged and not feeling like shit. You are a fecking trooper

Thank you old friend. I'm just a boring academic, whose writing skills pale in comparison to your creativity and wit. I'm going to try to get a couple of posts out a week, if I can manage one I'll be satisfied. If I knew growing old was going to suck this bad I'd have taken much better care of myself. Truth be told, I never thought I'd see 40 much less 75. Thanks so much for your friendship, it means the world to me.

I know that feeling. When I was younger I told myself u would be lucky to see forty and shortly I will be taking a tilt at the decade above!

Had some good times reading your snash mate. No one uncovers something that needs uncovering quite like yourself but I really loved your Rich in the early days tales!

I'm rooting for you dude. You're a top notch geezer

Thanks! I really enjoyed writing those for the most part but I had to walk a fine line with what I disclosed. There are still some things I'd like to get off my chest but to do so would endanger what little time I have left.

You have been one of better writers and commenters here on the chain; from the time you pointed out the theory that governments arise from organized bandits. I knew we were simpatico in thought.

I can only echo lucylin's thoughts

And I am truly sorry I never made it up there to visit

Thanks old buddy! You're one of the people I got closest to from the time you spent a whole day helping me get a Bitpay card. We are both searchers for the truth who expend an inordinate amount of time explaining it to others -- that makes us brothers. It would have been nice to have met you in person but we are bound together in spirit and that's what is important. Besides, I'm not gone yet so who knows what might happen. I can't thank you enough for your friendship.

Your words will live on long after you are gone.
Some of them in my duffelbag wherever I go.

What you described as symptoms sounded like a malaria flashback to me.
Heavy doses of cbd might help.
Or, RSO.

Nobody gets out alive.
The lucky ones are missed.
I plan to go in my sleep, or off a cliff on a bike, w/e.

Or quinine, why didn't I think of that. I haven't had a malaria episode since I quit drinking 33 years ago.

As long as I don't go feeling like shit. Thanks for your kind words!

I'm not a doctor, but I've read a lot of books while staying in some generic holiday inn expresses,...an ivory tower wasn't in the cards this time around.
I'm ok with that.

I hope the other side is peaceful for you, but if it ain't, give 'em hell.

I've learned in 75 years that ivory towers aren't all they're cracked up to be. Ultimately we're all judged not by what we accrued, but by what we gave away. Rousseau once wrote something to the effect that we can't get rich to help other people because what it takes to get rich changes us in a most egregious manner.

The other side will be what it is... Improvise, adapt and overcome.

Rich, I absolutely love your mind. If we had more people like you in this world who took the time to read and analyze everything in detail the world's problems would be solved. I have enjoyed reading your work over the years and am glad to have had the privilege of engaging in good conversations with you :) I wish you all the best.

I thank you for kind words and your friendship. I'm not gone yet and I intend to spend as much time as I can speaking truth to power. It's getting difficult as I feel the life force draining away, I spend most of my time feeling exhausted and weak.

The truth seems to be threatening to the "other side." As Cuban philosopher and poet Jose Marti wrote: "The world is divided into two camps, those who love and build and those who hate and destroy." I see that I got some downvotes -- imagie the type of person that would downvote a dying man. Like the Bible says, a tree is known for the fruit it bears. Keep fighting the good fight, I'll be hanging in for as long as I can.

It's so weird people speak about capitalism and call it socialism. The corporation paradigm is the most powerful structure in the world. Corporations have always mingled with governments and state institutions in order to have more power and manipulate regulations to their advantages. It has always been like that. You say this is a pattern that has arised until recently but maybe y ou do not know history of your own people.

On the other hand, socialism comes from workers movements to defy the ruling capitalist class, the owners of means of production.

So when you say that this traditional corporation power is the new socialism it's so weird because that is exactly what socialists have been denouncing for decades: corporations taking over state institutions, the power of the big capitalists that endangers the whole world, from social, political and environmental issues.

So in part it's great to know that some ignorant libertarians agree with basic socialist ideas. But it is so fucked up that they don't know the basic concepts of what they condemn the most or even that they don't know some basic history.

Apparently you didn't understand the article

Lol,...
!popcorn

You're a good man, Rich! If the time comes, we will greatly miss you around here. Be sure and leave those quacks a wide margin for error. Sometimes our capability to rebound is both extraordinary, unexplainable, and profound. That said, I have a feeling that whatever waits for us all on the other side may end up being even more impressive than we could ever possibly imagine with our limited five senses. Always be ready when the universe opens yet another door for us to explore!

Thanks old friend but at this point it's more a question of when not if. I believe that we're all eternal beings and what's on the other side is just part of the great adventure.

It's hard to put my finger on exactly why: However, all the things, data, and experiences that I've gotten exposed to this far guides me to that same unshakeable belief. I think part of the experience of life intrinsically hinges upon the obfuscation of that gem for most of the journey. How else could we possibly find ourselves if we don't lose ourselves long enough for the discovery to happen?

Be blessed! 🙏

It's been a pleasure to know you Rich!
You've done some fantastic deep dives on all sorts of topics and I've personally learned a great deal from you.
I'm deeply saddened to read this.
We haven't always agreed on everything but there's always been a ton of respect between us. You've been one of my earliest supporters on the platform and I've been a fan of your work since the beginning.
Thank you for making deep dives a better place and for your significant contributions to our community, they will not be forgotten.
I'm heartened to hear that you're at peace with things as they are.
You're a true investigator and even better person.
You will be missed immensely!

Thank you my old friend! We hit Steemit at about the same time and it was your writing that made me see that it was ok to use an academic style. It's the style that I'm the most used to so I owe my success here to you.

I'm not done yet and as long as I can do it, I'll continue to write -- just not as often. If I can get a post or two a week I'll be happy. There's a lot of truth yet to tell.

Thank you for your friendship and support, you're the best. I only wish I had your writing skills. Not farewell yet, but until next time.

That's a relief, I wasn't sure if this was going to be your final post. I must have misunderstood what you were tying to say. I hope to return to making a few posts again soon too myself. Been reading a lot of books and working on some things in the background. Definitely, there's a lot of truth left to tell still. Stay strong and I wish you nothing but the best my friend! Keep fighting the good fight.

Smithlabs is sending me some stinging nettle which is supposed to cure COPD, it repairs your lungs. If it can buy me a few months I'll be grateful. I wanted to get this post out just in case. Honestly, I don't know if I'm going to wake up when I go to bed at night. I can feel the life force draining away, but only God knows the time.

Congratulations @richq11!
You raised your level and are now a Minnow!
