Police officer Dennis Spaanstra set up Police for Freedom in the Netherlands. They organized a march for the human connection in the Netherlands. The city of Hilversum was chosen as the location. He notified the mayor as is customary in Holland, however the mayor decided to forbid the demonstration "because it is a march." The Dutch security regions apparently had agreed categorically not to allow marches anymore, due to corona. The march was held regardless, in the city of Baarn, at a location that was kept secret until the last moment. Thousands of people showed up after following social media channels. Potkaars reported.
Halfway the demonstration, police vans overtook the march and blocked the road. The two to three thousand demonstrators after being stopped for a few minutes, were allowed to proceed peacefuly.
