Im a bit lost. I cant even find information on commander x. Any posts you can direct me to?

I was having the same issue, because this is likely a shill. What's the point of the anonymous movement if you want to be singled out and publicly acknowledged as "blah blah blah x", it seems like he is a victim of his own circumstance and has exposed himself unnecessarily.

As much as we can feel bad for Commander X, his own desire for credit for his work and attachment to his title, earned him the cell he will be living in soon.

I found this interview of Commander X and am concerned he is a neoliberal shill, but thats just my first impression, never heard of the guy.

Yeah too busy worrying about controlled Op Manning and obvious causalities in Iraq.

Standing up against the patriot act and patriot act 2 was successfully diverted. Not to mention where the hell is occupy wall street now? Oh yeah they became hall monitors for the pharmaceutical banking elite😄😄😄😄 "Put on your mask because im fat, cant make proper health decisions on my own and I'm really scared.Did I mention Fauci is so hot"🤯

I disagree on the suggestion that he didn't have any importance to the Anonymous movement. His work is and has been primarily focussed on helping the homeless. Next to that he has been a very vocal advocate for human rights like free speech and free press.

People like Barrett Brown, Commander X, Gregg Housh, (I agree with you guys sentiments about bad OpSec, taking credit, singeling yourself out) have been effective communicators towards the media. Where many of the hacktivists in our movement were not really good with people, these managed to communicate messages to the outside and also debate those who disagreed with certain messages. This attracted a LOT of new crowd.

This isn't necessarily related to "illegal" operations, but with examples such as the Million Mask March, and Operation Safe Winter (for the homeless), vocal support from people like X really helped us organize these legal street events.

Obviously I use a fake identity myself, but it is a fixed identity since I moved out of any offensive security involvement. With the only reason that it allows me and my team to do podcasts and write about what goes on in a way that creates somewhat of a crowd around us.

I get what you guys mean though, I just want to mention the fact that there was never any large scale disagreement with any statements he made. He's been involved with the Anonymous movement for well over a decade, and kinda put a face to it. On that note, replying to your first comment, Dynamicgeektk, there is a recent documentary called The Face of Anonymous made about him, that includes other "famous" former Anons like Barrett etc as well:

These guys were controlled ops. Not sure how old you are but anonymous is a controlled Op just like Q. The 'hackers' were easily given jobs or paid off well over 10 years ago.

If it is on TV than it is probably false. Its just a show.

I'm well aware controlled opposition exists within Anonymous. Doesn't mean everyone are. Especially not our street movements in Europe. I was already involved with protests against Scientology in 2008.

Following and unfollowing is as annoying as fuck...
