Generative Portraits of Female Warrior Princess Characters

I have gone on a total and unapologetic binge of MidJourney and other AI assisted text to image generation systems lately. There's a certain magic at turning a string of words into visuals, and this is a collection of Female Warrior Princess type characters generated via Mid Journey, with specific prompts to get a view of different cultures or nations and what these individuals may have looked like.

To be very clear, I've gotten a lot better at giving prompts since the generation of these particular images, but it is a documentation of the process that I am able to make with something to me is a new and foreign tool.

The case with any new tool is speed to competency, and with something like this, it does not take very long at all to get to a level that is acceptable and a reasonably well resolved level of quality from an aesthetic point of view.

A different culture, depicted above. The eyes are really well generated here, as is the costume. Further, the colour scheme matches with the palette of the culture depicted. The next image, however is really something next level.

I absolutely love the eyes in this image, they have a real sense of an impending battle. The grim on the face seems to suggest that there's been some turmoil leading to the battle.

The generations below the line above are the ones that I did not elect to upscale as they were variants that while excellent in their own right did not have compositional elements or costume design that were truly exceptional or unique.

This image has really intense eyes.

The final image seems to have inherited some sort of watermark along the way of the creation process, which is an interesting thing to behold. Very clear that this generative models use lots and lots of source material to get them where they are.

I've got a few more collections of images like this to go through. These were not edited at all, future ones may have additional edits or changes, as that is all part of the creative process.

High school art teachers are going to struggle, marking students' work.

They'll just need to work under the iron fist of a new paradigm.

It's a good point though. There might be an arms race developing where counter-algorithms will need to be developed for checking images to see if they're generated or human. A bit like plagiarism detection software.

Really cool stuff bro!!! You're doing great!

Thank you!

ACTUALLY, the last one is fighting in the war against lichen

... and seems to be losing, unfortunately

Thats fine, we all return to the Earth eventually. :D

They were all very nice, I'm also new to trying the AI, I've been a week

Thank you so much. Do you have a background in Art at all, or just exploring this stuff for the first time?

Dear @holoz0r, we need your help!

The Hivebuzz proposal already got important support from the community. However, it lost its funding a few days ago and only needs a few more HP to get funded again.

May we ask you to support it so our team can continue its work this year?
You can do it on Peakd, ecency,
