What is the Manipulation Station Community?
This community is for all creative people on the Hive Blockchain to share their works of photo and art manipulation. So what is "photo manipulation"?
Photo manipulation involves transforming or altering a photograph using various methods and techniques to achieve desired results.source
There are countless pieces of software to perform your manipulation with. The most popular being Adobe Photoshop or a free software called Gimp. Whatever software you use, the outcome is only as good as the creative process that you use when making your piece of art.
So I set out to create a finished photograph through manipulation. My subject is "Having Fun With Dad." The photograph is to represent two dogs, one small and one an adult size riding a ferris wheel.

ORIGINAL IMAGE USED TO MANIPULATE ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPH
I located a free image of a ferris wheel to use whose source is indicated below. I thought this would make a fun situation for our dog.

MANIPULATION PROCEDURE
Utilizing Photo Shop Mix, the images of the dog and ferris wheel were imported. Both images needed to be reduced to fit inside the amusement ride.
Next, the photograph of the dog was duplicated with one being a lighter version and smaller of the original. The purpose was to make it seem as though one dog was the child; the other, the adult.
Finally, both photos of the dog were reduced to fit inside the ferris wheel and positioned next to each other. Both father and son look like they are having fun riding the ferris wheel. Satisfied that no additional manipulations were needed, this final version of the manipulated photograph was saved.
