Hello everyone, I'm here again this week to explain my thought on action it needed to combat climate change in my opinion. Before I step out my point I will like to thanks @ecotrain for great topics every week for our ecosystem.
Global climate change can be caused by various activities. When does climate change occur; temperatures can rise enormously. As the temperature rises, many different changes can occur on Earth.
Over the past century, human activities have released large amounts of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. Most of the gases come from the combustion of fossil fuels for energy. Greenhouse gases are like a blanket around the earth, taking energy from the atmosphere and heating it. This is called global warming and it is natural and necessary to sustain life on Earth. But when greenhouse gases build up, the climate changes, with dangerous consequences for human health and ecosystems.
Action needed to stop climate change
There are now solutions that we can use to combat climate change. But we humans and governments must move forward to implement global warming solutions. To reduce global warming, we can reduce the contribution of greenhouse gases to the atmosphere. Therefore, the solutions we can use to reduce global warming are to reduce gasoline, electricity and our activities related to climate change.
In order to reduce fuel consumption, we have the option of choosing a hybrid car that reduces fuel consumption. Oil prices are also rising. If you go to work every day, you have to pump gas and after 3 days produce carbon dioxide. Another way to save gas is by taking public transportation or carpooling to work. It can help reduce carbon dioxide and lower costs.
Another way to reduce global warming is through recycling. Recycling can reduce waste by reusing plastic bags, bottles, paper or glass. For example, when we buy food, we can use our containers instead of plastic bags. Another example is subsequently consuming water from a bottle; we can reuse it or use our bottle. If all this is recycled, people can reduce deforestation and help save the environment. Also turn off the power when not in use. It can save thousands of carbon dioxide and buy energy-efficient products because it saves costs and protects the environment.
Finally, you should stop open flames, such as burning dry leaves or burning garbage. When plastic waste is incinerated, carbon dioxide and toxic substances are released. In addition, the government must reduce deforestation as global temperatures rise. Trees help to improve the Earth's temperature.
Conclusion
In my opinion, the number of trees felled for industrial purposes should be reduced. Governments, companies and NGOs should encourage people to use green energy, such as solar, geothermal and wind energy. In addition, the use of public transport, adapting to digital paper economies and reforestation can help tackle climate change and reduce global warming to high levels.
