Starting some super-hot chile peppers

Although we're currently in Arizona, this part of the state actually gets a nice cold Winter. That doesn't mean I can't get some chiles up and running for next year and beyond. 20200906_095813.jpg

Figured I would try the free seeds first and looks like 100% germination. Hopeully they'll continue to grow well.

My 5 year old Bhut jolokia seeds weren't great as ar as germination rate but a few seeds have produced this one plant that is already getting some buds despite only being less than a foot tall.20200805_150113 1.jpg
Guess it likes the LED grow lights.

I'm not expecting a lot but it's fun and will add some greenery to my motorhome this Winter.
Hopefully I'll have a nice bunch ready for the Spring planting time.l
