Me encantan las plantas ornamentales aunque tengo muy mala mano para las plantas, casi siempre se me mueren. Cuando era pequeña recuerdo que mi abuela tenía muchas plantas en su casa, eran de distintos tipos y variedades, tenía rosas, helechos, calas, lirios, entre otras. Cuidaba sus plantas con mucho cariño y siempre quise hacer lo mismo, pero no tenía suerte con ellas.
Hace 2 años mi hija mi hija mayor debía llevar una planta al colegio, así que una compañera de trabajo me regaló una pequeña planta con 4 hojas. Después que mi hija presentó su evaluación me apoderé de la planta, la cuide con mucho mimo y amor, al cabo de un tiempo fue creciendo, le retoñaron muchas hojas nuevas y tuve que trasplantarla a un lugar más grande para que pudiera crecer a sus anchas. La planta fue muy feliz con esta decisión porque hoy está muy grande y hermosa, estoy orgullosa con el trabajo que he hecho con ella. Ahora adorna una parte de mi casa con su verdor además de darle un ambiente natural y agradable.
Esta planta es conocida como Potus o Malanga, es una planta muy versátil que requiere pocos cuidados, se puede tener tanto en exteriores como en interiores, la puedes sembrar en una maceta, en una maceta colgante y si le colocas una madera de soporte la puedes convertir en una planta vertical. Esto último lo acabo de aprender y me gustaría intentarlo. Sus hojas son en forma de corazón, de color verde con manchas blancas, dependiendo de la cantidad de luz y la altura sus hojas pueden ser pequeñas o más grandes.
Además tengo un pequeño bambú en un vaso con agua, este me lo regaló una amiga, ha crecido bastante, sus hojas son muy verdes. Esta planta también es de bajo mantenimiento, ya que solo se necesita un envase de vidrio, algunas piedras para que las raíces tengan donde fijarse y estar pendiente de cambiarle el agua regularmente. De igual manera se puede mantener dentro de la casa sin ningún problema. Yo la mantengo en un lugar donde le dan unos rayos de sol en las mañanas.
Estas son las 3 plantas que poseo dentro de mi hogar, próximamente espero agregar otras plantas de interior a mi colección, pues como he mencionado anteriormente me gusta mucho el ambiente natural que se crea en su presencia, además de que ayudan a purificar el aire.

I love ornamental plants even though I have a very bad hand with plants, they almost always die on me. When I was little I remember that my grandmother had many plants in her house, they were of different types and varieties, she had roses, ferns, coves, lilies, among others. She took care of her plants with a lot of love and I always wanted to do the same, but I was not lucky with them.
Two years ago my eldest daughter had to take a plant to school, so a co-worker gave me a small plant with 4 leaves. After my daughter presented her evaluation I took possession of the plant, I took care of it with a lot of care and love, after a while it was growing, it sprouted many new leaves and I had to transplant it to a bigger place so that it could grow at its own pace. The plant was very happy with this decision because today it is very big and beautiful, I am proud of the work I have done with it. Now it adorns a part of my house with its greenery besides giving it a natural and pleasant environment.
This plant is known as Potus or Malanga, it is a very versatile plant that requires little care, you can have it both outdoors and indoors, you can plant it in a pot, in a hanging pot and if you put a support wood you can turn it into an upright plant. I have just learned this last point and I would like to try it. Its leaves are heart-shaped, green with white spots, depending on the amount of light and height its leaves can be small or bigger.
I also have a small bamboo in a glass of water, this was given to me by a friend, it has grown quite a bit, its leaves are very green. This plant is also low maintenance, because you only need a glass container, some stones so that the roots have a place to fix and be aware of changing the water regularly. In the same way it can be kept inside the house without any problem. I keep it in a place where it gets a few rays of sun in the morning.
Finally the cactus, this is the plant by specialty for anyone who does not know how to take care of them, since they can be indoors as well as outdoors and if you forget to water it it is very resistant and it belongs to dry and arid climates.
These are the 3 plants that I have inside my home, soon I hope to add other houseplants to my collection, because as I mentioned before I like very much the natural environment that is created in their presence, besides they help to purify the air.

Hola hermosa @vikyguevara, según mi abuelita la cual gracias a Dios nos duró más de 100 años, el truco de sembrar cualquier planta y que esta viviera por mucho tiempo, es hablarle al momento de sembrarla y tener el pensamiento positivo de que va a vivir. También puedes preparar con anterioridad una porción de tierra y agregarle las capas que le quitamos a las verduras, al igual que la borra de café que desechamos y el agua que votamos al lavar el arroz. Prueba esos tips que de seguro te servirán al momento de plantar. Recuerda, se positiva al momento de hacerlo 🙏
