La trinitaria entre sus componentes cuenta con taninos estos son moléculas que se encuentran en esta planta y son se aporte para la salud humana, tienen una amplia función antioxidante. Flavonoides y compuestos salicílicos estos últimos actúan como analgésicos no esteroides y antipiréticas.
