This question may sound really absurd but it's true some people don't get the clue of how to help others!
We have to approve that, every one of us doesn't want to actively volunteer or involve helping others. Many feel comfortable to just donate. So if you ask support from these people, you may not get proper support. And if you are the one who feels clueless about this then here are some simple yet helpful ideas through which we can add values to others' life.
Donation and financial help can always help. So if are in such a financial situation you should do that. Don't feel bad about the amount. Don't hesitate to even give a dollar. Who knows, this dollar can save a life or latest bring food to someone's plate.
Offer your help who needs it; your neighbor, friends, or any stranger. Don't feel hesitant. I know if you are an introvert or don't have any experience in it then maybe it will make you uncomfortable to take the action. Just try your best.
Volunteer and tagged with any organization to support others. This is the best to bring social connections and actively involve ourselves to help others. It brings joy, happiness, and peace in life.
These are some major forms of help. There are many organizations or help centers available near you or on the internet. Take your time to decide where to help. Remember, it's not about the quantity, it's about your values. You are donating your time and money to improves others' life, it means a lot. And this will improve your life too.
Another thing is if you are still in a condition where you are unable to support anyone; don't feel bad. If you are being kind and responsible that is enough. I would say that's another form of charity. Just smile and spread the love.
