What is Family?
Family are those that accept you for who you are. They don't make you do anything you don't want to do, and, they try really hard not to judge what you choose to do. One thing I've been meaning to do for awhile, is find a good way to honor those that show up for our weekly 'cooldowns' known as 'Family Time'. A way to say, "Thank you for hanging out with us!" Because, we really do appreciate your time.

For some reason, the wind was really strong Sunday. From the corner of his eye, Witty espied something dangling and dancing in the wind. It was a little inch worm that was hanging from a tree! He shared a picture which led to some oil spill of bugs and bubbles that made the Mantis hungry.
Instead, he became entranced by the beauty of some violets! The brilliant colors made him think of both the morning and the night, and how they are so beautifully complimentary of each other.
You see, they were hungry too, and those were the perfect topping for their salad! Everyone was so hungry that day. Good thing for the violets, though, turtles tend to be awfully slow and they were able to spread their sweet nectar on to some deserving bees that happened across them before they could be devoured. Plus, @brisby ran circles around them in grand squirrel fashion making them too dizzy to locate the pretty flowers.
And Then -
While we were trying to figure out how to say 'boobs' in Spanish, @latino.romano and @ismaelrd04, schooled Witty on some Spanish. He learned the word 'clima', which means weather. And 'caliente', which means hot. Kind of like all those ladies on Baywatch that Chris is gaga over lately.
As Spanish came into the fray, we were trying to think of words we knew and somehow ended up on some songs. This one is a favorite of @saffisara's and we hope you enjoy it too. While you listen, stop in to see some of the people we hung out with yesterday and need I remind you to REMEMBER TO BE YOU?

Man too bad I've been missing it lately. Life has just been crazy...it always is.
BTW, those little inch worms are probably the Oak Leaf Roller moth. They get up in the trees and eat the leaves. The wind blows them off, but they hang on with their silk to get back up the tree. I saw hundreds of them on my recent trip to Florida.
Probably, but they're cute and the girls love to play with them because they don't look very menacing 😄
