If you think that the best things musicians can go to are well known you're dead wrong blockchain technology has been moving slowly in the music industry from finding finances for music royalties, rewards, streaming, and NFTs. It's not as popular right now but things will surface more. NFTs are going to be the bread winners for the most part which they're now plus going further in popularity even Elon Musk has staked into an NFT and what it is? Techno music with an NFT trophy of a song about NFTs.
Now I see A lot of talent out there and what do I see??? People overshadowed by major records. NFTs can provide equality for both parties, make the majors more valuable, and give the underdog a seat at the table. Most people who are aware of NFTs know it goes through the Ether blockchain, but there are cheaper options for people who can't afford the gas fees from Ether. This is where Hive can thrive at the one thing now is that you need a Hive account to create and buy it. What about a Hive service where ANYONE CAN BUY THEM?? That would be a game changer for them.
Now lets talk about social media people look on Instagram, twitter, and Facebook everyday but all they can get is recognition and popularity. That's all they have to offer but..... Places like Hive, Steemit, Whaleshares, and many others have a system where people can upvote your posts, and comments. I'll admit it takes work but doesn't it take as much work to get a following?
So if years come around and these sites become easy, and efficient and you're well in the platform already you're doing pretty good!! I don't see crypto losing it'll have it's days but those days are opportunities in my mind anyway the market goes there's money to be made it's been like that in the earlier stages.
If we can push more availability to people able to purchase NFTs things will thrive for Hive. What you make is what you make simple!!

I know what you mean about those mainstream social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, etc. For me it's become too superficial and when I'm on it I'm mostly mindlessly scrolling and "liking", with the occasional "news" or information. On Hive I've really learned a lot and still learning.
Places like facebook would be an ok for me if we weren't victims of spam targeting but I guess it's just business You know what speaking of this I think a Instagram type dapp on Hive would be cool, if we don't have that already. I think popularity for Hive will settle in eventually I mean it's already a bit popular only time will tell
I know what you mean... Facebook was also used to connect with people I got out of touch with or friends and family who moved to other parts of the world. Yeah, I think the "commercialization" has taken the fun out of it.
I don't really like Instagram though; too much adds and they're too in your face, but for "influencers" it is a good option to sell their brand and get sponsorships, etc. But it would be nice to get an option like that for Hive though, because there really is great content on here.

NFTs are a bunch of hype shit honestly in my opinion.. Still going to support them on carious projects upcoming of course, as the market seems to be fixated on them, but as far as concept of non fungibility being used on stuff where I can't really comprehend the need for it... wtf XD
I always thought of them being an asset for the art itself that's as much as i know and that it would be worth what the art/song would be for say that if i collected royalties people who had the nfts would benifit from it as well, if you catch the drift of what im saying
Ah. Interesting take on it all. I mean you certainly could use NFT type tokens to act as bonds or whatnot as you're outlining above with the right smart contract code here coming up in the near future.
I'll keep that in mind now trying to start off nftshowroom but I may have to talk to someone about the account
NFT is the only way for fully authenticating art pieces (not only digital ones) Imagine stealing the Mona Lisa is obsolete because it aint the real thing if you don´t own the corresponding NFT.
Or imagine me selling you a piece of property anywhere in the world and you get an nft corresponding with that exact property, its not hype shit, art is hype shit and it always was because art is something else for anyone and its true value lies in people who like art for art. I love to create digital art and why not mint as an NFT?
