I found out on Monday that I had to outfit a family get together. My family members have fallen for the progressive line. Unfortunately the shrill nature of the Trump administration made life so tense for the last four years that family meetings have become insufferable.
I mention this because I ended up having to cancel my evening walk so that I could sit in silence for three hours scared of breathing in case my breath triggered weak minded progressives.
I ended up with only 8,500 steps for the day. The event threw me off for the next couple of days and I only got 9,500 on Wednesday.
I ruined completely my goal of walking 10k every day.
I added an extra 5k steps for my Thursday walk in penance for my Monday lapse. I guess my goal now is to get over 80k steps per week. 80k a week is not as worthy a goal as 10k a day. Quite frankly I would prefer to do a long walk every other day than short walks every day.
