Hello dear community,

Once upon a time I had a wall, a terribly unproductive 3D printer and an unused but still well-filled roll of filament ...

And so it once happened that I thought I could create something decorative for a change.

I have to say, usually my constructions are rather practical in nature, that is, the functionality actually always trumps the optics and
so this project was a bit more special for me.

And probably exactly for this reason it could not become anything abstract.
But on the contrary, it was in the end geometrically perfect!😅

Hallo liebe Community,

es war einmal eine Lehre Wand, ein furchtbar Unproduktiver 3D Drucker und eine angebrochene, aber noch gut gefüllte rolle Filament ...

Und so begab es sich einst, dass ich mir dachte, ich könnte doch zur Abwechslung auch mal etwas Dekoratives erschaffen.

Ich muss dazu sagen, für gewöhnlich sind meine Konstruktionen eher praktischer Natur, soll heißen, die Funktionalität sticht eigentlich immer die Optik und
daher war dieses Vorhaben für mich schon etwas spezieller.

Und wahrscheinlich genau aus diesem Grund konnte es auch nichts Abstraktes werden.
Sondern im Gegenteil, es wurde am ende geometrisch perfekt!😅

I can tell you, it actually took some time and nerves to arrange this honeycomb shape inside the hexagon in such a way that a uniform geometry is created on all six sides.😖

But that's exactly what makes this piece special for me.😁

Ich kann euch sagen, es hat tatsächlich einiges an Zeit und nerven gekostet, diese Wabenform im Inneren des Sechsecks so anzuordnen, dass auf allen sechs Seiten eine gleichmäßige Geometrie entsteht.😖

Aber genau das ist es, was das Teil für mich zu etwas Besonderem macht.😁

And of course, such a uniform geometry also brings advantages from a design point of view.

So I was able to develop a clamp that can connect the parts to each other.

So it is now possible without any problems to attach the hexagon parts as you like and so now again give free rein to his creativity.

Und natürlich bringt so eine gleichmäßige Geometrie auch Vorteile in konstruktiver Sicht.

So konnte ich eine klammer entwickeln, die, die teile an jeder kannte, miteinander verbinden kann.

So ist es nun doch ohne Probleme möglich, die Hexagon teile nach lust und Laune anzubringen und so nun wieder seiner Kreativität freien Lauf zu lassen.

And there hangs the good piece now and reminds me that perfection in form and geometry can also be very decorative.
