As you know, I have given some information about Ecency project in my previous posts. Now I would like to give some detailed information about it for beginnners who are interested in this project.
What is Ecency?
Ecency is a Hive-based social platform which allows users to earn points by participating in various activities such as voting, commenting and sharing content. You do not have to be rich to start earning points and Hive with Ecency. It does not matter if you are a student, retiree, or unemployed, you can still earn some extra points (tokens) without doing anything hard. The only requirement is having an active account (Hive) and being part of the Hive community.
To get started visit the website of Ecency and register an account there. After registration, the system will verify your identity and send you a confirmation email. Then, you need to confirm your email address so that the system knows that you are human. After verifying your account, you are ready to start earning points and getting Hive rewards for your participation in the community. For example, if you vote on a post, comment on it or share (reblog) it on Hive, then you will receive Ecency points for each of these actions.
To see how many points you have earned, go to the profile page and click on the "Wallet" link located in the top right corner. If you want to find out how much you have earned in total, simply select the "Points" option. That's all!
Ecency has a mobile app
Ecency has both iOS and Android apps available for download. Once you install one of them, you can log in using your existing Hive account. The app also provides access to the friends feed, communities stream and notifications. So, whenever you want, you can check if there are any new posts or comments waiting for you on the Hive.
The Ecency team is working hard to improve their system in order to provide better user experience. In the next few weeks they plan to add some features and make some improvements to the platform. Their ultimate goal is to create a system where members can easily interact with each other to share useful information and get rewarded for it. And they are well on their way.
Ecency has a desktop app
If you prefer to use your computer instead of your phone or tablet, you can always install the Ecency Desktop app. On the ecency.com website, click the "Download for Computer" button. After installation, you can open the app and sign in with your Hive credentials. The app allows you to browse through the entire Hive blockchain, including all the new postss and discussions. You can also post messages and reply to conversations directly from your computer.
How can I spend the points?
Ecency points can be spent on various services inside the Hive ecosystem. There are currently three ways to spend your points:
1. You can boost the posts you like using your points. By boosting a post, you help its author get more upvotes and reach more people. It's also a good motivation for the author to create more quality content. Boosting a post is simple - just click the "Boost" link next to it and follow the instructions. This way, you can support your favorite posts, authors and topics without spending too much time.
2. You can promote the posts by using your points. Promoted posts will be shown to more users than normal posts. They can also get more attention and activity. Just click the "Promote" link next to a post and follow the instructions.
3. Send points to another person. You can also send points to other users. To send someone a point, you need to click on the "Gift" link and enter the recipient's username.
There are many more options coming soon! In the future, you will be able to exchange your points (tokens) to cryptocurrencies. For now, though, you can only spend them within the Hive.
How to support Ecency?
You can support the Ecency project in various ways:
- Delegate HP to @ecency - You will receive daily Hive rewards and Ecency points as a result of your support.
- Buy Ecency points - Visit the official website of Ecency, purchase the points, and use them to support your favorite authors and topics of your choice.
- Spread the word - Talk about the Ecency project with your friends, family, and colleagues.
- Vote for @good-karma as a witness - He is the one behind the creation of the Ecency Project, and he deserves your support.
I am sure that there are many more ways to contribute to the success of the Ecency project. But these four steps are a good place to start.
My personal opinion about the Ecency project
I've been using the Ecency platform from the beginning and I would like to say that it is a great initiative. The fact that anyone can join the Hive and earn some extra points for their participation is an excellent incentive to become part of the Hive community.
When I first discovered the Esteem project in 2017, I was impressed by its simplicity and transparency. It did not take me long to understand what the purpose of the platform actually is: to reward those who provide value for others. In my opinion, this is exactly how all the social platforms should work. Instead of focusing on the number of followers and likes, the focus should be on helping people and providing valuable information. The reason for this lies in the fact that most social networks are built around advertising models. As a result, the users are encouraged to consume ads and buy products, while the owners of the platforms make money from the transactions.
I believe that the Ecency project has a bright future ahead of it. The team has done a great job creating their platform, and they are constantly improving it. I'm looking forward to seeing the new features and improvements that the developers will come up with.
And last but not least, I would like to thank @good-karma @melinda010100 and the rest of the Ecency team for everything. ♥️ I really appreciate their efforts and wish them all the best.

Ecency nedir?
Ecency, kullanıcıların oylama, yorum yapma ve içerik paylaşma gibi çeşitli etkinliklere katılarak puan kazanmalarını sağlayan Hive tabanlı bir sosyal platformdur.
