¡Hola, buenos días hermosas damas! Es mi primera publicación en esta comunidad, y lo hago con una iniciativa e invitación de mis amigas @evev y @brujita18 (respectivamente).

CONCURSO #48 / CONTEST # 48

1) Es un poco temprano para Halloween así que escuchemos esos horrores de tacones altos, botines fallidos, llantas, alborotadas, chanclas, ciadas de cuñas, crox awks, historia de tu peor calzado. Describe el peor par de zapatos que hayas tenido.

1) It's a bit early for Halloween so let's hear those horrors of high heels, failed booties, tires, rioters, flip-flops, wedges, crox awks, your worst shoe story. Describe the worst pair of shoes you have ever owned.

Desde siempre me ha gustado coleccionar zapatos, cundo jovencita solía comprarlos en todos los colores y modelos para combinarlos con los cinturones u otros accesorios. Hoy en día no puedo hacer eso porque son muy costosos, pero trato de tener aunque sea dos pares de los tipos de zapatos que me resultan más cómodos. Mis favoritos son los deportivos, las botas, las sandalias y los modelos casuales de tacón bajo.

I have always liked to collect shoes, when a young girl used to buy them in all colors and models to combine them with belts or other accessories. Nowadays I can't do that because they are very expensive, but I try to have at least two pairs of the types of shoes that are most comfortable for me. My favorites are sneakers, boots, sandals and low-heeled casual models.

Los zapatos me duran mucho porque los mantengo en el closet dentro de sus cajas, o en bolsas. Y me duran aún más, porque paso mucho tiempo en la casa y uso cholas o ando en medias.

My shoes last a long time because I keep them in the closet in their boxes, or in bags. And they last me even longer, because I spend a lot of time at home and wear cholas or walk in stockings.

No uso zapatos de tacón alto porque se me inflaman los pies, por lo que sufro un poco cuando me veo obligada a usarlos. Tengo las piernas muy gruesas, y las botas de corte alto en cuero casi nunca me pasan de la pantorrilla, así que o las compro de un material que estire o las uso de corte bajo, pero ellas son mis preferidas.

I don't wear high-heeled shoes because my feet get swollen, so I suffer a bit when I am forced to wear them. I have very thick legs, and high-cut leather boots almost never go above my calf, so I either buy them from a material that stretches or I use them low cut, but they are my favorites.

Éste fue el peor par de zapatos que tuve, me gustaron tanto que hasta tomé una foto sólo de mis pies. Los compré exclusivamente para la boda de mi hijo. El traje era de terciopelo negro con una tela bordada en plateado. Estaba feliz con mi atuendo esa noche, soporté de pie la ceremonia, las piernas hinchadas no me iban a quitar el gusto, pero ya los pies estaban tensos dentro de las cintitas negras de las sandalias. Fue tanta la presión, que cuando terminó el acto y caminamos hacia las mesas de los invitados, sólo sentí el “trac, trac, trac” de las cintas sobre mis pies y hasta allí llegaron las hermosas sandalias. Yo no sé si estaban elaboradas en semicuero o en papel de seda, pero todas las que sujetaban la parte del dedo pulgar se reventaron a la vez en ambas sandalias, y yo me quería morir. Pasé horas sentada sin moverme ni al baño, no sabía ni qué hacer y no quería aguarle la fiesta a mi hijo. No estuve en la sesión de fotos, sólo se tomaron algunas en la mesa a mi lado.

This was the worst pair of shoes I had, I liked them so much that I even took a photo of just my feet. I bought them exclusively for my son's wedding. The suit was black velvet with a silver embroidered cloth. I was happy with my outfit that night, I endured the ceremony standing up, my swollen legs were not going to take away my taste, but my feet were already tense inside the black straps of the sandals. The pressure was so great that when the act ended and we walked to the guest tables, I only felt the "trac, trac, trac" of the ribbons on my feet and the beautiful sandals arrived there. I don't know if they were made of semi-leather or tissue paper, but all those that held the part of the thumb broke at the same time in both sandals, and I wanted to die. I spent hours sitting without moving or going to the bathroom, I didn't even know what to do and I didn't want to spoil my son's party. I was not in the photo session, only some were taken at the table next to me.

Ya al rato, fastidiada, no me quería perder el resto de la noche y mandé a mi hija a decirle a mi nuera lo que pasaba, y me mandó unas sandalias bajitas color negro, y con ellas pasé el resto de la noche. Ni me preocupé de más nada tan sólo de bailar y pasarla bien, y cuando me preguntaban, yo decía que me dolían mucho los pies, jajajajaja. Desde ese día no he comprado más sandalias altas delicadas, sólo botas y zapatos cerrados que no me vuelvan a dejar mal parada.

After a while, annoyed, I didn't want to miss the rest of the night and I sent my daughter to tell my daughter-in-law what was happening, and she sent me some low black sandals, and I spent the rest of the night with them. I didn't even worry about anything else, just dancing and having a good time, and when they asked me, I said that my feet hurt a lot, hahahahaha. Since that day I have not bought more delicate high sandals, only boots and closed shoes that will not make me look bad again.

Mi sitio de trabajo en #Hive está en mi habitación, y es el mismo lugar donde realizo mi servicio de trabajos digitales. Consiste en un escritorio para computadora donde tengo mi equipo de computación, una pizarra acrílica, herramientas de trabajo en físico, la laptop (que la uso en el escritorio junto a la otra si necesito ambas o la uso en la cama), las cornetas, teléfono, dispositivos de internet, impresora, etc. Me gusta trabajar en mi habitación porque es el lugar donde tengo todas las cosas que necesito a la vez, y es el más cómodo de la casa.

My workplace at #Hive is in my room, and it's the same place where I do my digital jobs service. It consists of a computer desk where I have my computer equipment, an acrylic board, physical work tools, the laptop (which I use on the desk next to the other if I need both or use it in bed), the horns, phone, internet devices, printer, etc. I like to work in my room because it is the place where I have all the things I need at the same time, and it is the most comfortable in the house.
