( EN / DE ) @snook has started her new "Create your..." challenge called "My New Years Cherub".
Dear Snook, this is a wonderful idea, however, you have brought into a little bit of troubles with this. Well, not real troubles, but there was a lot excitement in the Angels realm ;-)
How it came to this? More in a moment, first of all I would like to show you all the little and bigger angels that have joined me in the course of my life. There are amazingly many and I like them all.

All of these angels were gifts, except for one:
What? This is supposed to be an Angel? Yes, of course it is, it just has a different shape and a few dragon teeth on its back. Who could assume that angels always have to have the shape of humans? Actually, it would be much more plausible if Angels had the shape of squirrels, butterflies or flowers, wouldn't it?
This little Gargoyle Angel jumped out at me in a store a few years ago. There were about 20 of his brethren on a shelf, but only this one cried out "Take me with you take me with you!" "I want to go to you!" How could anyone disagree with an Angel? And so he was finally overjoyed (and so was I) when he got to ride home in my car.
But now back to the actual challenge. My Cherub for the New Year!
That sounded so wonderful that I immediately decided to participate in this challenge. However, a "WHY?" immediately rang out as a result. Yes, it sounded. No, I didn't really hear it, I rather felt the question: "WHY?"
So (you know me), of course, came my counter-question: Why not? After all, I have one or two wishes or dreams for the New Year, what better way than to have an Angel just for that?
And before I realized what was happening to me, I found myself on a journey. It went high up to the sky. Roofs, treetops, mountains we left behind us and on one of the top clouds we finally landed. It was a meeting of the oldest Angels as it turned out and it was about what to do now with all the old Angels from the years 2020 and 2021, how to keep them busy. It had been probably two years, in which mankind had longed again very much assistance and help from above. Well, there had always been such times. However, it was new that the people created themselves for every wish a new Angel! If the wish was fulfilled or became uninteresting, then they turned to a new wish praying to a new Angel.
This New Year the record number of the newly created angels of ALL TIMES had been reached! In over 100,000 years there had not been such a thing!
It didn't even depend on whether the Angels had been successful or not. Even the wishes had become a disposable item by now. The old Angels were perplexed and sad, the young Angels at the other end of the cloud almost angry and desperate. In addition, the old Angels were worried, because some of the young, seemingly useless Angels were in danger of falling back to earth, and fallen Angels were not necessarily wanted to be recreated.
One could retrain the discarded Angels and send them to earth as teachers. One could also let them do other valuable things, there was always enough to do. Here was somebody to protect, there was to care for that two people meet by chance, everywhere good advice and encouragement needed to be given to the people, how they could become happier again.
But their actual purpose, to take care of their ONE person with all their strength, that would then no longer be fulfilled. As said, a very tricky situation and completely new territory for the community of the Angels.
While everyone continued to eagerly discuss a solution, something took me by the hand and led me away from this dream world again. I almost forgot that it wasn't my world. It was already nice there, I would have liked to stay.
But I was told that now was not the time for me to stay there for long. That my world and my sphere of action was "down there" on Earth. Whereby also this world view of "above" and "below" is not correct. Because it would be rather a side by side, a with each other, an INTO EACH OTHER, than a hierarchical order.
Back in the Here and Now I remembered something I haven't thought about for a long time....
I received this treasure as a gift for my baptism. A small golden Guardian Angel on a chain, which I always wore as a child. There are countless photos of it.

At handicrafts - protected me not to hurt my fingers with the hammer
ALWAYS he was at my side. And he is more than this little pendant. It is what he stands for. The intention of a dear family member to give me this Guardian Angel to always watch over me. But even before this gift he was already there, I am convinced of it. He then only took this form to make it easier to believe in him.
So he has grown with me, learned with me, guided and accompanied me. For all the nearby 54 years and will continue to do so. From the greatest joy to the saddest abysses, he has been with me through everything and has always been by my side. Mostly just him, sometimes other heavenly helpers came along to support him and me.
I am convinced that there is much more between Heaven and Earth than we normally perceive. And so of course there exist so-called Angels. Guardian angels. Elohim. Spirit guides. Whatever you want to call them. I think of them as a kind of energy, spectrum of light, frequency that can permeate everything. She is not only above us to watch over us, she is also around us and even within us. Connected with us and connecting us to all others. Maybe we, ourselves are also a part of them? Of course I don't know for sure. And honestly, I am glad that despite all quantum physical achievements the true secrets of our being are not explored. Because I don't believe that mankind is mature enough to actually deal with such knowledge and power.
Therefore, there is only one thing left for us to do! Simply to trust that it exists and not to lose faith (beyond all religions).

Mein Neu Jahrs Engel - Danke alter Freund
@snook hat eine neue "Kreiere Dein..." Challenge mit dem Namen „Mein Neu Jahrs Engel“ gestartet.
Liebe Snook, das ist eine wundervolle Idee, allerdings hast du mich damit ein klein wenig in Schwierigkeiten gebrachten. Also nicht wirkliche Schwierigkeiten, aber es herrschte ein wenig Aufregung im Engelreich ;-)
Wie es dazu kam? Gleich mehr, zuerst einmal möchte ich euch gerne all die kleinen und größeren Engelchen zeigen, die sich im Laufe meines Lebens zu mir gesellt haben. Es sind erstaunlich viele und ich mag sie alle.
All diese Engel waren Geschenke, bis auf einen:
Was das soll ein Engel sein? Ja natürlich ist es einer, er hat eben nur eine andere Form und ein paar Drachenzacken am Rücken. Wer könnte schon annehmen, Engel müssten immer die Gestalt von Menschen haben? Genau genommen wäre es viel einleuchtender, wenn Engel die Form von Eichhörnchen, Schmetterlingen oder Blumen hätten, oder?
Dieser kleine Gargoyle Engel ist mich vor ein paar Jahren in einem Baumarkt angesprungen. Es stand mit rund 20 seiner Brüder auf einem Regal, aber nur dieser eine rief „Nimm mich mit nimm mich mit!“ „Ich will zu dir!“ Wie könnte man einem Engel widersprechen? Und so war er schließlich überglücklich (und ich auch) als er in meinem Auto mit nach Hause fahren durfte.
Aber nun zurück zur eigentlich Challenge. Ein Engel für das Neue Jahr!
Das klang so wundervoll, dass ich mich sofort dafür entschied, an dieser Challenge teilzunehmen. Allerdings ertönte daraufhin sofort ein „WARUM?“. Ja, es ertönte. Nein, ich hörte es nicht wirklich, ich fühlte die Frage eher: "WARUM?" Also (ihr kennt mich), kam natürlich meine Gegenfrage:
Warum denn nicht? Ich habe schließlich den ein oder anderen Wunsch oder Traum für das Neue Jahr, was gibt es da besseres als einen Engel genau dafür zu haben?
Und eh ich mich versah, befand ich mich auf einer Reise. Es ging hoch hinauf in den Himmel. Dächer, Baumkronen, Berge ließen wir hinter uns und auf einer der obersten Wolken schließlich landeten wir. Es war eine Versammlung der ältesten Engel wie sich herausstellte und es ging darum, was man nun mit all den alten Engeln aus den Jahren 2020 und 2021 machen sollte, wie man sie beschäftigen könnte. Es waren wohl zwei Jahre gewesen, in denen die Menschheit wieder sehr viel Beistand und Hilfe von Oben ersehnt hatte. Nun ja, solche Zeiten hatte es immer schon gegeben. Neu war allerdings, dass die Menschen sich für jeden Wunsch einen neuen Engel erschufen! War der Wunsch erfüllt oder uninteressant geworden, dann wandten sie sich einem neuen Wunschengel zu.
Dieses Neujahr war die Rekordzahl der neu erschaffenen Engel ALLER ZEITEN erreicht worden! In über 100.000 Jahren hatte es so etwas nicht gegeben!
Es hing nicht einmal davon ab, ob die Engel erfolgreich gewesen waren oder nicht. Auch die Wünsche waren mittlerweile zu einem Wegwerfartikel geworden. Die alten Engel waren ratlos und traurig, die jungen Engel am anderen Ende der Wolke beinahe zornig und verzweifelt. Dazu kam, dass die alten Engel in Sorge waren, denn so mancher der jungen, scheinbar unbrauchbaren Engel war in Gefahr auf die Erde zurückzufallen und gefallene Engel wollte man nicht unbedingt neu erschaffen.
Man könnte die ausrangierten Engel umschulen und als Lehrer auf die Erde senden. Man könnte sie aber auch andere wertvolle Dinge erledigen lassen, zu tun gab es ja immer genug. Da war jemand zu beschützen, dort war dafür zu sorgen, dass sich zwei Menschen zufällig trafen, allerorts war den Menschen guter Rat und Zuspruch zu erteilen, wie sie wieder glücklicher werden konnten.
Aber ihr eigentlicher Zweck, sich mit all ihrer Kraft um EINEN Menschen zu kümmern, der wäre dann nicht mehr erfüllt. Wie gesagt, eine sehr verzwickte Situation und völliges Neuland für die Gemeinschaft der Engel.
Während alle eifrig weiter über eine Lösung beratschlagten, nahm mich etwas an der Hand und führte mich wieder weg aus dieser Traumwelt. Beinahe hätte ich vergessen, dass es nicht meine Welt war. Schön war es dort, ich wäre gerne geblieben.
Aber mir wurde erklärt, dass es jetzt nicht die Zeit für mich sei, mich lange dort aufzuhalten. Dass meine Welt und mein Wirkungsbereich eben „da unten“ auf der Erde sei. Wobei auch dieses Weltbild von „oben“ und „unten“ nicht stimme. Denn es wäre eher ein nebeneinander, ein miteinander, ein INEINANDER, als eine hierarchische Ordnung.
Wieder zurück im Hier und Jetzt habe ich mich an etwas erinnert, an das ich schon lange nicht mehr gedacht habe...
Diesen Schatz habe ich zu meiner Taufe geschenkt bekommen. Ein kleiner goldener Schutzengel an einer Kette, den ich als Kind auch immer getragen habe. Dazu gibt es unzählige Fotos.
IMMER war er an meiner Seite. Und er ist mehr als dieser kleine Anhänger. Es ist das, wofür er steht. Die Absicht eines lieben Familienmitglieds, mir einen Schutzengel zu schenken, der immer über mich wachen soll. Aber auch vor diesem Geschenk war er schon da, davon bin ich überzeugt. Er hat dann nur diese Form angenommen, um es leichter möglich zu machen, an ihn zu glauben.
So ist er mit mir gewachsen, hat mit mir gelernt, mich geführt und begleitet. All diese beinahe 54 Jahre lang und wird es weiterhin tun. Von der größten Freude bis zu den traurigsten Abgründen hat er alles mit mir durchgestanden und war stets an meiner Seite. Meist nur er, manchmal kamen noch andere himmlische Helfer dazu, um ihn und mich zu unterstützen.
Ich bin überzeugt, dass es viel mehr gibt zwischen Himmel und Erde als wir normalerweise wahrnehmen. So auch sogenannte Engel. Schutzengel. Elohim. Geistführer. Wie auch immer man sie nennen mag. Ich stelle sie mir als eine Art Energie, Lichtspektrum, Frequenz vor, die alles durchdringen kann. Sie ist nicht nur über uns um zu wachen, sie ist auch um uns und sogar in uns. Mit uns verbunden und verbindet uns zugleich mit allen anderen. Vielleicht sind wir auch selbst ein Teil von ihnen? Ich weiß es natürlich nicht genau. Und ganz ehrlich, ich bin froh, dass trotz aller quantenphysikalischen Errungenschaften die wahren Geheimnisse unseres Wesens nicht erforscht sind. Denn ich glaube nicht, dass die Menschheit reif genug ist um tatsächlich mit solchem Wissen und Macht umzugehen.
Daher bleibt uns nur eines! Einfach darauf zu vertrauen, dass es sie gibt und den Glauben (über alle Religionen hinaus) nicht zu verlieren.

I did a little ballet in my childhood and one of the costumes for the dance performance was an Angel costume, of course also having my Gardian Angel at my side.

I know cherubs as angels in heaven and I believe they render their service to God day and night. Good to know you some practically living with you, protecting you and you are so closer that you have a wonderful pendant of one. I used to think they are for all of us but this post got me thinking that you are getting more attention from them than me, hahaha 😂, what's the secret? Just teasing. I believe there are angels among us, for at times, people come into your life; help or help you see something you might not otherwise have known, and then they're gone. Or perhaps you 'feel' someone's hand on you that keeps you from stepping out in front of a car! The list could go on for sure!

Do we walk among the angels or them among us? You have some lovely angels in your collection with heartwarming stories behind each of them. I have an angel pendant on a chain that my mom and dad bought me, a guardian angel pewter stone from my folks too and a beautiful glass and pewter angel that sits atop my Christmas tree that I acquired in the Washington DC National Cathedral about a decade ago. I have a few others, but these are the treasures that hold memories for me. !ALIVE

The world of the supernatural.
Like you I feel that there is far more happening that we don't perceive with our eyes and ears than the actions of angel and demons in our midst. We know they are there. Some are adorably cute but others are powerful beings and things are not what they seem to be. Ever read, "This Present Darkness" by Frank Peretti? An action thriller of a battle between Angels and Demons.
