El día de hoy les traigo mi participación semanal en este concurso organizado por esta bonita comunidad de Hive, antes de empezar me gustaría hacerle una especial invitación a @sugarelys a participar. En esta ocasión dándole respuesta a una muy interesante pregunta que es la siguiente:

1️⃣ Hablemos de una mujer resiliente, puede ser tu amiga, familiar, compañera de trabajo, etc. ¿Cuál es su desafío en la vida y qué hizo para superar la prueba a la que se enfrentó?

Hoy les quiero contar sobre Evelia, una de las mejores amigas de mi mamá y muy cercana a la familia de hecho se podría decir que es como una hermana para mi madre, siempre aconsejándonos a mí y a mi hermano de la mejor manera. Desde que tengo uso de razón Evelia ha sido una mujer con un carisma y alegría enorme, para todo siempre tiene una sonrisa y positivismo increíble tanto así que después de un rato puedes llegar a contagiarte de su buena energía.
Today I want to tell you about Evelia, one of my mom's best friends and very close to the family, you could say that she is like a sister to my mother, always advising me and my brother in the best way. Since I can remember Evelia has been a woman with a huge charisma and joy, for everything she always has an incredible smile and positivism, so much so that after a while you can become infected with her good energy.
Hace 7 años a Evelia le salió un nódulo en el seno por lo que los médicos le diagnosticaron cáncer de mama, fue una noticia muy triste para todos, pero al parecer pudieron detectárselo a tiempo por lo que no vieron necesario cortarle el seno si no que en seguida empezó su tratamiento y como siempre con esa alegría y carisma que la caracteriza le dio la cara y se enfrentó a las terapias, a las quimioterapias y demás. le suspendieron su trabajo con la maquina de cocer ya que podía interferir en su tratamiento pero, después de un tiempo gracias a Dios la diagnosticaron libre de cáncer por lo que volvió a hacer arte con sus manos no tan fuerte y seguido como lo hacía antes pero si retomo su actividad favorita.
Seven years ago Evelia had a lump in her breast and the doctors diagnosed her with breast cancer, it was very sad news for everyone, but apparently they were able to detect it in time so they did not see the need to cut her breast, she started her treatment immediately and as always with that joy and charisma that characterizes her, she faced the therapies, chemotherapy and others. Her work with the baking machine was suspended because it could interfere with her treatment but, after a while thanks to God she was diagnosed free of cancer so she returned to make art with her hands, not as strong and often as she did before but she resumed her favorite activity.
Hace 2 años le encontraron una mancha en su hígado, por lo que rápidamente le hicieron los estudios correspondientes y lastimosamente se dieron cuenta que el cáncer había vuelto y esta vez había hecho metástasis en los huesos por lo que tenía que volver a tratamiento, recuerdo que ese día llamó llorando a mi mamá y le dijo que ya no quería volver a los tratamientos porque se sentía cansada pero siempre he pensado que Dios te manda a las personas correctas en el momento indicado, mi mamá la aconsejo, le hablo y le dio esas fuerzas que le faltaban, así que desde entonces cumple puntual a sus citas médicas y tratamientos.
Two years ago they found a spot on her liver, so they quickly did the corresponding studies and unfortunately they realized that the cancer had returned and this time it had metastasized in her bones so she had to return to treatment, I remember that day she called my mom crying and told her that she did not want to return to the treatments because she felt tired but I have always thought that God sends you to the right people at the right time, my mom advised her, talked to her and gave her the strength she was lacking, so since then she has been punctual to her medical appointments and treatments.
Justo el día de ayer fui a visitarla me recibió con un abrazo y sonrisa enorme y aunque sus ojitos se han apagado un poquito ella sigue sonriendo y demostrando que todo esta bien. Me contó que le volvieron a suspender los trabajos en maquina de cocer pero que esta elaborando un bolso super hermoso de perlas para distraer la mente, me lleve una gran sorpresa ya que resulta que tuvo una caída hace unos meses y se fracturo el hueso del fémur, la operaron y hoy en día tiene que usar apoyo para caminar con un caminador especial, me pareció un poquito triste ya que muchas veces las personas no solo tienen que tratar con enfermedades si no también con problemas a nivel personal y bueno, conozco un poquito por las cosas que ha pasado. Aún así luego caí en cuenta y entendí lo fuerte y valiente que ha sido para llevar a cabo todo este proceso, para mí ella es la persona más resiliente que tengo en mi vida 💗 La queremos muchísimo y esperamos que pronto salga victoriosa de esta prueba.
Just yesterday I went to visit her and she received me with a hug and a huge smile and although her eyes have faded a little bit she is still smiling and showing that everything is fine. She told me that they suspended her work in the baking machine again but she is making a beautiful pearl bag to distract her mind, I got a big surprise because she had a fall a few months ago and fractured her femur bone, she had surgery and today she has to use a special walker to walk, I found it a little sad because many times people not only have to deal with illnesses but also with personal problems and well, I know a little bit about the things she has gone through. Even so then I realized and understood how strong and brave she has been to carry out this whole process, for me she is the most resilient person I have in my life 💗 We love her very much and hope she will soon emerge victorious from this ordeal.

Evelia es una mujer admirable. Es triste saber que el cáncer regresó. Su actitud me encanta, sigue a pesar de todo y en las fotos se le ve alegre. Me impresiona que se haya caído y tenga problemas en el fémur. Mucho cuidado necesita.
