Uno de los olores que más me gusta en el mundo es el de la vainilla, y es porque lo asocio con los dulces, el olor de la vainilla me parece muy rico y delicioso, me da una sensación de tranquilidad muy agradable para el hogar.
One of the smells that I like most in the world is vanilla, and it is because I associate it with sweets, the smell of vanilla seems to me very rich and delicious, it gives me a feeling of tranquility very pleasant for the home.
El recuerdo que tengo con el aroma de la vainilla, es de mi abuela paterna, a ella le gustaba hacer muchos tipos de dulces, como tortas, galletas y sobre todo las conservas al estilo venezolano, que era el dulce que cuando se ponía a prepararlo los olores llegaban a toda la casa, tengo un recuerdo particular de verla en la cocina revolviendo con una paleta de madera una leche que tenía en la olla a fuego lento, los olores eran demasiado deliciosos cuando me acerqué a ella y le pregunté "¡Mami, qué estás haciendo que huele tan bien! Y me dijo un dulce de leche, le había agregado unas ramitas de canela que yo conocía pero había algo más que le agregó, no supe que era porque tenía forma de ramitas secas, me dijo que era vainilla, sacó unas semillas de esas ramitas, eran vainas de vainilla también me dijo que era un ingrediente clave para su dulce, el olor era tan delicioso que se podía saborear el dulce sin haber terminado de prepararlo. Cuando el caramelo estaba listo lo tenía en trozos cuadrados, lo compartía con los vecinos y la familia, y con todos nosotros. Esa fue la primera vez que conocí la vainilla. Desde entonces se convirtió en uno de mis olores favoritos, lo utilizo tambien para recetas de cocinas, tambien para aromatizar mi hogar con inciensos de vainillas y splash aromatizantes, tambien uso splash corporal de coco vainilla y algunos perfumes que tienen toques de vainillas que me encantan.
The memory I have with the aroma of vanilla, is of my paternal grandmother, she liked to make many types of sweets, such as cakes, cookies and especially the Venezuelan style preserves, which was the sweet that when she started to prepare it the smells reached the whole house, I have a particular memory of seeing her in the kitchen stirring with a wooden paddle a milk she had in the pot over low heat, the smells were too delicious when I went to her and asked "Mommy, what are you doing that smells so good! And she told me a dulce de leche, she had added some cinnamon sticks that I knew but there was something else she added, I didn't know what it was because it was shaped like dried twigs, she told me it was vanilla, she took some seeds out of those twigs, they were vanilla pods she also told me it was a key ingredient for her sweet, the smell was so delicious that you could taste the sweet without having finished preparing it. When the candy was ready she had it in square pieces, she would share it with neighbors and family, and all of us. That was the first time I got to know vanilla. Since then it became one of my favorite scents, I use it also for cooking recipes, also to scent my home with vanilla incense and flavoring splashes, I also use vanilla coconut body splash and some perfumes that have hints of vanilla that I love.
2️⃣ Coffee? Tea? Both are renowned around the world! Which is your favorite to drink daily, and how do you take it? Recipes, please, and if you are not a fan of either, what is your favorite daily drink?
2️⃣ ¿Café? ¿Té? Ambos son famosos en todo el mundo. Cuál es tu favorito para beber a diario y cómo lo tomas? Recetas, por favor, y si no eres fan de ninguno de los dos, ¿cuál es tu bebida diaria favorita?
Definitivamente el café es mi favorito, desde pequeña la mayoría de las veces mi madre nos daba para desayunar café con leche con pan, o con arepa, era la bebida de la mañana que no faltaba, luego a medida que fui creciendo fui aumentando la ingesta de café, el café con leche era más marrón porque le agregaba más café, Luego un poco más grande ya no había leche y era solo mi café, muy delicioso tomarlo en las mañanas, cuando me levantaba podía faltarme otras cosas pero tomar un buen café en la mañana nunca me ha fallado, también lo tomo en algunas horas del día mucho después de comer en la tarde cuando termino de hacer cosas me siento a disfrutarlo. Te cuento que la forma en que lo bebo no es ni muy pura ni muy clara, es algo intermedio.
Receta con café, me encanta el quesillo de café, es muy delicioso.
Definitely coffee is my favorite, since I was little most of the time my mother gave us for breakfast coffee with milk with bread, or with arepa, it was the morning drink that was not missing, then as I grew up I increased my coffee intake, coffee with milk was browner because I added more coffee, Then a little bit older there was no more milk and it was just my coffee, very delicious to drink it in the mornings, when I got up I could miss other things but drinking a good coffee in the morning has never failed me, I also drink it at certain times of the day long after eating in the afternoon when I finish doing things I sit down to enjoy it.
