The annual inter-parliamentary meeting marking this years International Women's Day gathers women world wide to discuss gender equality and women's rights issues. As it should. This year's theme is : 'We are strong: Women leading the fight against COVID-19‘

Every year many events are held and this day is getting its importance more and more every year.
MEPs and national parliamentarians will discuss women’s key role in fighting the pandemic during an inter-parliamentary committee meeting on Thursday morning. But with all the Hive time zones you can check online.
The annual inter-parliamentary meeting marking International Women’s Day gathers MEPs and national MPs to discuss gender equality and women’s rights issues. This year’s theme is ‘‘We are strong: Women leading the fight against COVID-19’Everybody knows the importance and the chance to show the key roles women play in the biggest fight in years for the entire world.
After an introductory word by the Chair of the EP Women’s Rights Committee, Evelyn Regner (S&D, AT), opening speeches will be delivered by EP President David Sassoli, and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, followed by a keynote speech by the President of Greece, Katerina Sakellaropoulou.
The main panel discussion will deal with ‘‘Women on the frontlines: lessons learnt from the crisis management. Very in the now, due to Covid 19.

International Woman’s Day sees a number of missions to help forge a gender equal world. Celebrating women's achievements and increasing visibility, while calling out inequality, is key. A difficult task but we have to to make the world a better place.
Today there also will be also speeches by Dr Isabelle Loeb, Medical Director at Saint-Pierre Hospital in Brussels, Kristel Krustuuk, Founder and Chief Testing Officer at Testlio, Carlien Scheele, Director of the European Institute for Gender Equality, and Concha Andreu, Rapporteur on the Gender Equality Strategy at the European Committee of the Regions, will participate.
A massive girlpower line up if you ask me, and Yess I like succesfull men, and men that make a difference but I love a woman on top!
But what is the mission or goal you want? Well there are many and in every piece of our world there is possibly the need for something different so there are a few mission statements. We can all imagine and transform it to our own work and life space. I know there are so many here on Hive in so many different parts of the world and i so many different situations. I wish it could be more levelled out but thats also a task we need to pick up. So the missions, also debatable on Hive in a blog by you aswell.

The Prime Minister of New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern, will address MEPs via a pre-recorded video message. Also on 8 March, Women’s Rights Committee Chair Evelyn Regner, will be live on Facebook to answer citizens’ questions about the current state of play on gender equality in the EU and how the pandemic has worsened the plight of women.

Almost 4 years ago I got pursuaded by a friend, than witness and Steemer at the time, to join the blockchain of opportunities. Three years ago I took the plunge as a daily steemer and moved over a year ago to the Hive chain, and I never looked back. I try to contribute, coach, help out, onboard and teach.
And I think I do a good job.

La reunión interparlamentaria anual que marca el Día Internacional de la Mujer reúne a eurodiputadas y diputadas nacionales para debatir cuestiones de igualdad de género y derechos de la mujer. El tema de este año es "Somos fuertes: mujeres liderando la lucha contra COVID-19". Todo el mundo conoce la importancia y la oportunidad de mostrar los roles clave que desempeñan las mujeres en la lucha más grande en años para todo el mundo.
Tras unas palabras introductorias de la presidenta del Comité de Derechos de la Mujer del PE, Evelyn Regner (S&D, AT), el presidente del PE, David Sassoli, y la presidenta de la Comisión Europea, Ursula von der Leyen, pronunciarán los discursos de apertura, seguidos de un discurso de apertura. discurso de la Presidenta de Grecia, Katerina Sakellaropoulou.

Una enorme alineación de girlpower si me preguntas, y sí, me gustan los hombres exitosos, y los hombres que marcan la diferencia, ¡pero amo a una mujer en la cima!
Pero, ¿cuál es la misión u objetivo que quieres? Bueno, hay muchos y en cada parte de nuestro mundo posiblemente exista la necesidad de algo diferente, por lo que hay algunas declaraciones de misión. Todos podemos imaginarlo y transformarlo en nuestro propio espacio de trabajo y vida. Sé que hay tantos aquí en Hive en tantas partes diferentes del mundo y en tantas situaciones diferentes. Ojalá pudiera estar más nivelado, pero esa es también una tarea que debemos retomar. Así que las misiones, también discutibles en Hive en un blog tuyo también.

2️⃣ ¿Cómo llegó a encontrar y unirse a la plataforma de blogs Hive? ¿Y en qué te benefició?
Hace casi 4 años me persiguió un amigo, que testigo y Steemer en ese momento, para unirme a la cadena de bloques de oportunidades. Hace tres años me lancé como piloto de vapor diario y me mudé hace más de un año a la cadena Hive, y nunca miré hacia atrás. Intento contribuir, entrenar, ayudar, incorporar y enseñar.
Y creo que hago un buen trabajo.

Hmmm, it always makes me kind of sad to see that we need special days to celebrate women, or mothers or whatever other reasons we find... it shows to me that we have not enough attention in the most important moments of life; the Now!
