Happy and blessed week, over here again I want to leave my opinion on the matter with the questions on duty, which as always put us to reflect in a very deep way. This time I will only answer the first one, since the question didn't click for me 😉🙃😜.
💧💦💡Would you rather go without water or electricity for a week? 💧💦💡
Answering this question is not easy, as both utilities are must-haves and definitely cannot be substituted, however based on my life experiences, I'm going for electricity. I would rather go without electricity for a week than without water.
Water is life, it is an inexhaustible source of energy. It is a vital liquid that we use to live. A human being can live 45 days or more on water. The active component of the human body is 70% water...💧💦🌊
Water is used for cooking, hydration, bathing, cleaning the house, washing clothes, watering plants and any number of activities that are used in different means of production such as: agriculture, electricity generation, industry, fish farming among others.
All the above I use it to highlight the importance of water service, but this does not mean that electricity is not important, of course it is and more in this age that the internet and social networks are part of our day to day. Teleworking is a tool that has taken boom in this century, and even more with the pandemic; because, as we could not get together we had to relate through electronic devices.
In Venezuela, we suffer very often from the lack of these services, for this reason we have learned to live with the absence of them. Thank God in my case the electric service issue is not so serious, but outside Caracas; that is to say in the other States, the situation is more serious, very chaotic, since it is missing very frequently and for long periods of time.
Coincidentally, on Tuesday I was at my niece's birthday party; that day there was a heavy downpour which caused a short circuit and some main cables were damaged; leaving the whole community without electric service. Despite the lack of service we had a very happy and fun evening, we did not allow the absence of service to tarnish the sharing.
The darkness of the night is replaced by the clarity of the day, when another dawns; but how would we replace water. There is no way, especially for personal hygiene, cleaning and cooking food. In short, I prefer water. However, as I mentioned earlier in this day and age where telecommunications is the boom, the lack of electrical service would keep us disconnected.
Virtually disconnected, but it would allow family reunion, games, conversations between family and friends, real sharing between people, real interpersonal relationships that have been replaced by social networks and electronic devices. That would be the real connection. A week without electricity would reconnect us with ourselves, with our environment, with the source.
As I mentioned above in Venezuela we live these situations very often, about two years ago we had a national blackout that lasted several days; that left sequels and today we are still suffering from that evil. That is why we have learned to improvise and revive ourselves. We are more resilient every day. I invite @abisag, @elemarg25 and @mariakekin to tell us their preferences.

Responder esta pregunta no es fácil, ya que ambos servicios son imprescindibles y definitivamente no se pueden sustituir, sin embargo según mis experiencias de vida, me voy por la electricidad. Prefiero quedarme sin electricidad durante una semana que sin agua.
El agua es vida, es fuente inagotable de energÃa. Es un lÃquido vital que lo utilizamos para vivir. Un ser humano puede vivir 45 dÃas o más a base de agua. El componente activo del cuerpo humano es el 70% de agua...💧💦🌊
El agua se utiliza para cocinar, para hidratarnos, para bañarnos, limpiar la casa, lavar la ropa, regar las plantas y cualquier infinidad de actividades que se utilizan en los diferentes medios de producción tales como: la agricultura, en la generación de electricidad, en la industria, la piscicultura entre otras.
Todo lo anterior lo utilizo para resaltar la importancia del servicio del agua, más esto no quiere decir que la electricidad no es importante, claro que lo es y más en esta época que el internet y las redes sociales forman parte de nuestro dÃa a dÃa. El teletrabajo es una herramienta que ha cogido auge en este siglo, y más aún con la pandemia; porque, como no podÃamos juntarnos tuvimos que relacionarnos a través de los dispositivos electrónicos.
En Venezuela, padecemos muy a menudo de la falta de estos servicios, por tal razón hemos aprendido a vivir con la ausencia de ellos. Gracias a Dios en mi caso el tema del servicio eléctrico no es tan grave, pero fuera de Caracas; es decir en los otros Estados, la situación es más grave, muy caótica, ya que falta con mucha frecuencia y por largos perÃodos.
Casualmente el martes estuve en el cumpleaños de mi sobrina; ese dÃa hubo un fuerte aguacero lo cual generó un corto circuito y unos cables principales sufrieron daño; dejando a todo esa comunidad sin servicio eléctrico. Nosotros a pesar de la falta del servicio pasamos una velada muy alegre y divertida, no permitimos que la ausencia del servicio empañara el compartir.
La oscuridad de la noche se sustituye por la claridad del dÃa, cuando amanece a otro; pero como sustituirÃamos el agua. No hay manera, especialmente para la higiene personal, la limpieza y la cocción de los alimentos. En definitiva prefiero el agua. Sin embargo, como mencionaba anteriormente en esta época donde las telecomunicaciones son el boom, la falta del servicio eléctrico nos mantendrÃa desconectados.
Virtualmente desconectados, pero permitirÃa a su vez el reencuentro familiar, los juegos, las conversaciones entre familiares y amigos, el compartir real entre personas, volverÃan las verdaderas relaciones interpersonales que han sido sustituidas por las redes sociales y los dispositivos electrónicos. Esa si serÃa la verdadera conexión. Una semana sin electricidad nos volverpia a conectarnos con nosotros mismos, con nuestro entorno, con la fuente.
Como mencioné arriba en Venezuela vivimos estas situaciones muy a menudo, hace como dos años más o menos tuvimos un apagón nacional que duró varios dÃas; eso dejó secuelas y hoy dÃa seguimos padeciendo de ese mal. Por esa razón hemos aprendido a improvisar y reiventarnos. Cada dÃa somos más resilientes. Invito a @abisag, @elemarg25 y @mariakekin para que nos cuenten sus preferencias.

Te confieso que no sé que responderÃa a a esta pregunta, porque en alguna oportunidad estuve dos semanas enteras sin luz y fue una situación terrible!!! Más difÃcil de solucionar que la falta de agua. Sin embargo, coincido contigo en que el agua es vida y por tanto más prioritario.

Claro ambos servicios son necesarios, pero es lo que digo en el dÃa tienes claridad aunque no uses los electrodomésticos, ni redes sociales y no va a estar a oscuras todo el dÃa. Pero el agua? una vez que se acabe toda la almacenada cómo haces? Si estás cerca de un rÃo limpio y claro chévere. y si no? Es muy complicado todo de verdad. Pero siempre buscamos manera de resolver.
