Memories are an introspection of our past moments which comprises of the favorable and unfortunate events that happened in a long or short period of time. It takes us back to the description or technique in which the same event took place, shows us a reflection of who we are and how we handle things. This shows how we react naively to conversations, attitudes, possibilities, and circumstances in which we found ourselves.
Memories show one a true and essential meaning to life, it develops human and shapes us mentally, emotionally and physically. These recollections tell how far we have gone in life and remind us to take necessary precautions.
Memories are very delicate and extremely valuable to humans, we choose to preserve and cherish them with our heart or choose to let them go. It's through memory that we could travel back to tell stories about the experience, trials, and adversity one goes through to attain success and that brings me to my next paragraph.

What was the best thing about the place where you grew up?

Flashbacks can be so memorable, I was born and raised in Lagos, precisely in an urban area located on the mainland. Lagos is such a busy and beautiful city with lots of amazing things happening there.
Lagos is a major African financial center and is the economic hub of the State and Nigeria at large. This megacity has the highest technology and is also one of the largest and busiest seaports on the continent. It is one of the fastest-growing cities in Nigeria because of its awareness, advancement, and establishment it's was also named the ‘ the city of excellence ’
There are so many constructions in Lagos the residents of Lagos state suffer from high temperature because of the congestion of so many buildings with no mountain and forest, talk more of the metropolis which carries the crown for the densely populated areas, busy streets, and massive traffic jam.
With all of these explanations, I still love Lagos, the busiest city of all and I was born and brought up there, but can you imagine that I don't speak the commonest language there? which is the Yoruba, although I can hear and also interpret but speak fluently... no way lololol... I guess I wasn't interested to learn.
Grew up precisely in Orile, the one thing about this place is the spirit of oneness/unity and love, everyone cares about each other, supports each other, and patronizes their businesses asf, not the best!
The best thing about this place is only during the season period...you confused 😕.... no-no-no just hold on!

The reason is because whenever it's Christmas the whole neighborhood becomes silent and scanty, people are rarely seen outside! Just a few people! lol
And that makes me wonder if this is where I was born lololol..... was so cool and calm!! Because the area I know is so filled with activities every 24 hours 7 days a week...

and boom one time everywhere is cool, people went to their various home, some traveled out of the country, some to visit friends and family and mostly to their villages.... leaving the environment cool with less activity. ....
You know the amazing part of it is that when I wake up, walking to the penthouse and coming outside .... the atmosphere oh my gosh! filled with harmattan air so foggy, frosty, and sometimes muggy... it kinda takes me back to the scents of my village.
Sounds weird but I see myself in the eastern part of the country anytime harmattan approaches.
It makes me look like a dry leaf 🌿🍀...

Then am looking all whitish and funny except I run to apply some Vaseline, most times my lips look all cracky and rough just because of the weather... but I love it because it makes me feel cold and free from heat while sleeping.
This Is the best thing about where I grew up!

Lol it's almost the same in my area during harmattan. It's like everyone has gone back to "where they came from". The most interesting thing about that period is how there is little or no traffic, suddenly Lagos becomes a different place 😂
