¿Qué anécdota graciosa o simpática de una mascota tienes? // What funny or cute pet story do you have?
Las mascotas siempre me acompañaron en mi infancia. Mis 2 hermanas menores y yo, tuvimos la suerte de que nuestra madre nos permitiera adoptar mascotas, a pesar de que ella no tenía tiempo suficiente para hacerse cargo de las mascotas y de las 3 niñas de la casa y que vivíamos en un pequeño apartamento en la ciudad. Siempre nos enseñó la responsabilidad que traía la adopción de un ser vivo, ya fuese planta o animal.
Entre todos los perros que tuvimos mis favoritos fueron: Kimmy, que fue como una hija para mí, era la princesa de la casa y la contábamos como un miembro más de la familia para los intercambios de regalos en navidad, para jugar al amigo secreto e incluso para la celebración de su cumpleaños. Cuando kimmy tenía algunos años, decidimos buscarle un compañero de vida, así tendría cachorritos y nos haría felices a todos en casa. De esta manera llegó Howl a nuestras vidas. Estos dos peros eran totalmente diferentes en cuanto a personalidad. Kimmy era pacífica y muy madura ya que tenía algunos años así que las travesuras no le gustaban. Howl por su parte era un torbellino, todo lo rompía y todo lo quería. No podíamos sacarlo mucho de la casa porque ninguna de mis hermanas ni yo podíamos con él.
Pets always accompanied me in my childhood. My 2 younger sisters and I, were lucky that our mother allowed us to adopt pets, even though she didn't have enough time to take care of pets and the 3 girls in the house and we lived in a small apartment in the city. She always taught us the responsibility that came with adopting a living being, be it plant or animal.
Among all the dogs we had my favorites were: Kimmy, who was like a daughter to me, she was the princess of the house and we counted her as a member of the family for Christmas gift exchanges, playing secret pal and even for her birthday celebration. When Kimmy was a few years old, we decided to find her a life partner, so she would have puppies and make us all happy at home. Thus Howl came into our lives. These two dogs were totally different in personality. Kimmy was peaceful and very mature as she was a few years old so mischief was not her thing. Howl on the other hand was a whirlwind, he broke everything and wanted everything. We couldn't take him out of the house much because none of my sisters or I could handle him.
Entre las travesuras de Howl puedo recordar toda mi ropa interior que se comió, incluso juegos íntimos que no tuve oportunidad de estrenar. Recuerdo cuando mi mamá servía el cereal en las tardes para la merienda y sonaba la bolsa para destaparla y salía corriendo que sus diminutas patitas de cachorro se resbalaban en el piso pulido y nosotras disfrutábamos mucho de esto. Me acompañó muchas veces a correr en el campo deportivo, yo terminaba muriendo agotada y él quería que le siguiera lanzando la pelota. Hasta que terminábamos uno sobre el otro sin fuerzas.
Le encantaba que le rascaran la cabeza y se comía todo a su paso. Un día logró robarse el molde nuevo de silicón que mi mamá compró para las tortas de cumpleaños. El molde era de color verde y cuando lo descubrió mi hermana comenzó a gritar y todas corrimos a ver su travesura. Él sentado con la cabeza esponjosa agachada y ella gritando se devoró el molde muchachas ¿qué hacemos?... mi mamá sugirió que esperáramos hasta después que comiera y de no resultar su plan lo llevaríamos al veterinario. Le sirvió su comida y cuando terminó automáticamente comenzó a defecar verde. Entre la popo venían los trozos del molde. Y afortunadamente no se enfermó ni tuvo que visitar al veterinario, ya que expulsó todo él solito.
Un perrito muy travieso. Lamentablemente cuando yo enfermé ellos sintieron ese golpe que recibió la familia. Poco después que viajé a Cuba para mi tratamiento médico mi mamá me dio la lamentable noticia que los perritos enfermaron y a los días fallecieron. Fue muy duro para mí ya que los vi desde pequeños y todavía los recuerdo con mucho cariño y hablo de ellos como si aún vivieran. No he podido tener otra mascota. Pero cuando mi hija esté en edad de tener una mascota les aseguro que será un perro porque estos maravillosos amigos son increíbles.
Among Howl's antics I can remember all my underwear he ate, even intimate games I didn't get a chance to play. I remember when my mom would serve cereal in the afternoons for snack and the bag would ring to uncover it and he would run off and his tiny puppy paws would slip on the polished floor and we would enjoy this so much. He accompanied me many times to run in the sports field, I would end up dying exhausted and he wanted me to keep throwing him the ball. Until we would end up on top of each other with no strength left.
He loved to have his head scratched and would eat everything in his path. One day he managed to steal the new silicone mold my mom bought for birthday cakes. The mold was green and when my sister discovered it, she started screaming and we all ran to see his mischief. He sat with his fluffy head down and she screaming he devoured the mold girls what do we do?...my mom suggested we wait until after he ate and if his plan didn't work out we would take him to the vet. She served him his food and when he finished he automatically started to poop green. In the poop came the pieces of the mold. And fortunately he didn't get sick and didn't have to visit the vet, as he expelled everything by himself.
A very naughty little dog. Unfortunately when I got sick they felt the blow to the family. Shortly after I traveled to Cuba for my medical treatment my mom gave me the unfortunate news that the dogs got sick and a few days later they passed away. It was very hard for me since I saw them since they were little and I still remember them with much affection and I talk about them as if they were still alive. I have not been able to have another pet. But when my daughter is old enough to have a pet I assure you it will be a dog because these wonderful friends are amazing.

Esta pregunta me pareció divertida. Si pudiera cambiar de cuerpo con alguna de las Ladies de hive sería genial. Hice una pequeña lista, solo por nombrar a unas de ella, porque me parece que todas las miembros de esta comunidad son mujeres maravillosas de las que podría aprender y nutrirme espiritualmente para ser una mejor persona.
La primera de mi lista sería mi mamá @tere.alv. Sería algo así como esa película viernes de locos.
I thought this question was funny. If I could switch bodies with any of the Ladies of hive that would be great. I made a short list, just to name a few, because it seems to me that all the members of this community are wonderful women that I could learn from and nurture spiritually to be a better person.
The first on my list would be my mom @tere.alv. It would be kind of like that crazy Friday movie.

Continuando con mi lista, me gustaría cambiar con mi amiga @irenenavarroart, es impresionante como se puede llegar a tener una súper conexión con alguien que conoces hace poco tiempo, pero puedes llegar a sentir que es amiga de toda la vida. Recuerdo que el año pasado mi mejor amigo me ayudó a iniciarme en #Hive y siempre me puso de referencia el trabajo increíble de Irene ya que ella es una artista con una capacidad fuera de este mundo de poder tejer o plasmar personas, objetos, incluso sentimientos en su trabajo, y eso es de admirar. Cuando mi amigo me pasó el link de Instagram de Irene y vi su trabajo me enamoré de todos sus amirigumis y me encantó el cariño con los que los hace y los presenta en su blog.

Kimmy y Howl mis dos grandes amiguitos, Kimmy era una gran compañía siempre tranquilita y pacifica, me la llevaba a dormir conmigo y así podía pasar la noche tranquilo, me daba miedo dormir solo, ud sabe los fantasmas jajaja. Yo solo he tenido un perro mascota en mi vida, pero por el tiempo que compartí con Kimmy y Howl, mi cariño y mi recuerdo de ellos es tan grande como el de mi perro. Lol, thanks @chacald.dcymt for the mention, considering your other choices I should have taken up Knitting but ended up with Tamashiguri Kenjutsu that focuses on a different aspect on patience and discipline. On the reverse, I'm terrible at keeping orderly home when having such a busy productive life.
