Hablar de mis recuerdos de la infancia es hablar de mi abuela materna, prácticamente la única que conocí, era regla básica que los fines de semanas compartiríamos en familia en su casa, éramos varios primos y tengo una tía (Magaly), que siempre se ponía con las hembras a inventar coreografías, mi abuelo siempre llegaba con una bolsa de pan llena de golosinas, siempre lo esperábamos con ansias, lamento no tener fotos de esos momentos para compartir con todas aquí, pero les comparto la ultima foto que le tome en vida de mi abuela Venancia.
Talking about my childhood memories is talking about my maternal grandmother, practically the only one I knew, it was a basic rule that on weekends we would share as a family at her house, we were several cousins and I have an aunt (Magaly), who always wore with the females to invent choreographies, My grandfather always came with a bag of bread full of sweets, we always looked forward to it, I regret not having photos of those moments to share with everyone here, but I share the last photo I took of my grandmother Venancia while she was alive.

Otro de mis recuerdos de mi infancia eran los paseos que realizábamos al parque del Este en Caracas, o a las playas del Litoral, siempre era un sábado y el domingo visitábamos a mi abuela, o viceversa. Vivíamos en La Guaira y la zona no era nada buena, por lo cual las salidas para nosotros eran nuestro momento de disfrutar como niños en áreas abiertas sin temor. Mi papá Hugo siempre preparaba con mi mamá estas salidas.

Another of my memories of my childhood were the walks we took to the Parque del Este in Caracas, or to the beaches of the Litoral, it was always a Saturday and on Sunday we visited my grandmother, or vice versa. We lived in La Guaira and the area was not good at all,so the outings for us were our time to enjoy as children in open areas without fear. My dad Hugo always prepared these outings with my mom.

Hace muchos años cuando mi hermano estaba en el cuartel , mi mamá quería llevarle en la visita una comida diferente, la acompañe a realizar las compras y fuimos a la pescadería, recuerdo que compro pulpo, calamares, mejillones, langostinos, almejas y otros ingredientes más, yo cuando vi todo aquello dije, yo no voy a comer eso que vas hacer🙄 Ni siguiera vi su preparación y cuando llegamos a la visita de mi hermano mi mamá saco su gran arrocera y compartió con mi hermano y sus compañeros, todos comían de lo más divino y yo viendo, hasta que decidí comer ya que el hambre me invadió, cuando comí aquello estaba de lo más rico, después supe que esto era paella de marisco y que a pesar de la apariencia de sus ingredientes después de cocidos tiene muy buen sabor, me encanto 😁🤩.

Fue grato y a la vez nostálgico recordar, sobre todo por aquellas personas que hoy no están a mi lado físicamente, porque en mis recuerdos siempre vivirán.
