Sometimes we do have such a movie character that not only resonates with us but tells some part of our story. This movie, I'm about to share with us has some part of my story to tell and each time I remember the lead actress *Alex Parish* I see a lot of myself in her character.
Quantico
Is an FBI crime tv series consisting of three seasons. The lead actress *Alex Parish* is a trainee at Quantico and all she ever dreamt of was to serve and protect her country, what she never knew was that she will have to save and protect herself first.

Left home without the knowledge of her mother to join the FBI and of course, her mother was hurt in the process as she wouldn't have supported her decision as she lost Alex's father in the same line of work.
In the process of serving the greater good, serving her country, and protecting the people she loved and cares about, she had to break up with the love of her life, her fellow trainee *Ryan Booth*.

Ryan Booth was planted into her life as her fellow trainee to spy on her and report back to the head of the trainee (Liam O'Connor) by blackmailing him. Ryan ended up falling in love with Alex, their love story was always hitting the rock as there is always the issue of trust and sometimes Alex won't just be ready to take their relationship to the next level.
Alex was the best and the finest trainee on their set but this comes with a lot of sacrifices, most of the time she will have to stay away from the man she loves and even her best friend (Shelby Wyatt). She always saves the day, as she sees threats and acts before they become casualties even when no one believed in her.
At the end of the day, she fulfills her dream of serving her country and saving lives but she had mostly to stay away from the people she loved as she thinks that anyone close to her always gets hurt.
This can be painful and a burden to her, as she had to be alone most of the time in other to keep her loved one safe. At the end of season three, almost all the threats were neutralized but she already lost the love of her life to the arms of another woman as she had to disappear for some years in other to keep everyone safe.
Even when she met someone else, she is always hesitant to be with anyone as she is scared of commitment and not putting the person in danger.
An incident happened that brought her and her mom together for the first time and that was when the mom realized the important role her daughter was playing in saving lives. Her mom forgave her for how she left without her permission and they made up and try to catch up with their lost time as much as they could.
How does Alex's story reflect who I'm?
There was a time I had to leave home against my father's wish, it was after my secondary school education I knew that there was no future for me in the rural area where I grew up but being a female child my dad will not have me leave his sights.
I left anyway and got a job at my elder sister's place in a nearby town it was months before we saw each other again, he forgave me for leaving when he realized I was doing okay and had already gotten an admission Into a polytechnic. he supported my education and he was very proud of me.
When it comes to having a relationship I was always running away from commitment because I knew I had a lot on my head to achieve and siblings to take good care of. I have had to decline a lot of marriage proposals even when I don't want to but I just had to, which later made got married in my late twenties. Most times I had to stay away from someone I love in other for me to be able to achieve my aims and it usually hurts now I had no regrets I'm glad I did what I needed to be done when I did.
Just like Alex, I have lost friends and relationships I care about just because they simply could not see things the same way I did, and sometimes I don't want to be a burden on them. This thing hurt but in the end, it was worth it.
I believe we all have our story, a path to follow and as long as we focus and follow that part, that is the true essence of living and I'm glad I always follow my path and never allow myself to be distracted no matter what.
