I went for a visit with Mom on Sunday. Every summer, there is a huge flower show in her yard.
This time the fuzzy bumble bees are having a picnic on every kind of flower it seemed. My camera program made me this animation and then asked me if I wanted it. Yes please!
Some even had a party of 4 !
These are SO tall, but not the dinner plate size, so they were still looking up.
A little closer now. I was suspicious that the big one was doing all the work and the smaller one was stealing pollen from it's legs while it was busy.
How dare you turn your back on me ! The nerve of some flowers !
Another animation my phone gave me. This time with the bee on a zinnia.
So many colorful zinnias..... and a happy purple phoenix.

She took my Step-Dad's golf umbrella to give some of her plants some shade. It really has been hot here.... and humid ! That must be what the bees love.

It is true, although there are many fantastic flowers, it's hard to beat a sunflower of any type.
I couldn't believe how many bumbles were out and they were docile enough to let me get very close, in fact, they didn't seem to mind at all !
My evening is going very cool..... inside that is. 😄

Actually, this is my 87 year old Mom's yard ! I'll do a post on some of my things next. The nut doesn't fall far from the tree around here... LOL !!
My camera is my phone and it is an LG Stylo 5. I've had it a couple of years (I think), so there's no telling how many more updated ones there are now. I never trade till one goes bad, so I'm never on the cutting edge of phones. 🙂 When I was buying it, it came down to two choices. The other had possibly longer power holding capabilities, but this one had possibly a better camera, so this one won out for me. I have another camera, but I don't like dragging extra things around with me when I go out, so I wanted my phone to take good enough photos for whatever I wanted to use photos for and so far, I haven't been disappointed. Most of the time, if a photo doesn't come out well, it's a user issue....LOLOLOL.... therefore, I take multiple snaps of anything that I really want to make sure I get at least one good photo in the end.
I LOVE whimsical, inside and out.
I have a camera phone, but it doesn't take close-up photos.
Perhaps it does, but I don't know how, LOL!

Sometimes I actually get a great macro, but sometimes too close up comes out blurry. I have found though, that since I have so many pixels, many I can take from close, but not right on and then blow it up without losing any clarity. You know, it's like any thing else, you just have to keep trying and get use to what it will do.... and not.

Simply a lovely Garden.
I wish I had the time to decorate my home in a similar way. I can't even tend my Vegetable garden as much as I like and let my Tenant most of the work and have the lion's share of the produce.

I have to admit, my Mom has more energy and determination for such things than I do, but I am still determined to do some. A little less as I have gotten older. It just makes everything more beautiful and happy I think, or at least it does for me.
