Hello ladies of Hive!
It’s been a while since I last posted here or on the blockchain entirely. It’s quite unfortunate though, but not really my fault I’ve just been very busy with other activities lately. 😞
Now, regarding the contest, I’m going for the first question which says:
“What do you consider to be the most important lessons that we should teach our children?”
Here’s what I have to say. First of all, our children are precious gifts from God the giver of all good things. Since they come from Him, we are expected to care for them physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
As parents (or even parents-to-be), one of the first lessons we should teach our children is how to be useful for themselves. What do I mean by that?
Teach them how to be respectful, how to do chores, and how to handle domestic work responsibly. Train them in the way of God, because serving God is the only thing that can bring them true peace and everlasting life.
When they’ve learned respect and responsibility, teach them independence. Help them discover their talents and career interests, and support them. Encourage them to earn money in honest ways and take care of themselves — this will help them avoid negative influences like stealing or immoral acts when parents are not around.
Also, never forget that education is key. Don’t deprive them of it. Remember, when someone is useful to themselves, they can also be useful to others.
So, dear parents and parents-to-be, teach your children how to be useful, how to respect others, how to pray, and how to live with good manners. Above all, help them become the man or woman you dream for them to be. 💖
