Hello everyone, today I am here to tell you about my experience visiting the state of Merida.
Hola a todos hoy viene a contarles sobre mi experiencia visitando el estado Mérida.
It all started at 2:00 AM on a Thursday, my family and I were on our way to the meeting point where we would meet the tour bus. The first stop of this trip was at the waterfall "Velo de Novia", it was around 9 AM, we toured the place for a while and then we continued on our way. The next stop was at a restaurant at 11 AM where we had lunch and next to it, there was a store where we bought some souvenirs.
Todo comenzó a las 2:00 AM un jueves, íbamos mi familia y yo a dirigirnos al punto de encuentro donde nos encontraríamos con el bus de la excursión. La primera parada de este viaje la hicimos en la cascada “Velo de Novia”, fue alrededor de las 9 AM, recorrimos el lugar por un rato y luego continuamos nuestro camino. La siguiente parada fue en un restaurante a las 11 AM donde aprovechamos para comer y al lado, había una tienda donde compramos algunos recuerdos.
The "Sierra Nevada" park was our third stop, where we were able to appreciate a very beautiful lake, I also had the opportunity to take a horseback ride, which was incredible for the contact I had with nature and the beautiful scenery that was appreciated in this tour.
El parque “Sierra Nevada” fue nuestra tercera parada, donde pudimos apreciar un lago muy hermoso, además tuve la oportunidad de dar un paseo a caballo, el cual fue increíble por el contacto que logré tener con la naturaleza y por el paisaje tan bello que se apreciaba en dicho recorrido.
We continued our route in which we headed to the Bolivar peak where unfortunately I got moor sickness, I got dizzy and had to rest for a while to continue, and when I felt better I had the opportunity to buy a wooden horse for my nephew. We continued until we reached the Monumento de la Loca Luz Caraballo, there, some children got on the bus to tell us the history of the bus, which was very interesting.
Continuamos nuestra ruta en la cual nos dirigimos al pico Bolívar donde lamentablemente me dio mal de páramo, me mareé y tuve que descansar un rato para poder continuar, y cuando me sentí mejor tuve la oportunidad de comprarle un caballito de madera a mi sobrino. Seguimos hasta llegar al Monumento de la Loca Luz Caraballo, ahí, unos niños se montaron en el autobús a contarnos la historia del mismo, la cual fue mi interesante.
We were finally on our way to the inn where we could rest, the truth was that we thought we would arrive quickly but we ended up arriving at 10 PM, then, they gave out the rooms and that's how the first day would end.
Al fin íbamos camino a la posada donde podríamos descansar, la verdad creía que llegaríamos rápido pero terminamos llegando a las 10 PM, luego, repartieron las habitaciones y así terminaría el primer día.
The second day was the most longed for, since I was finally going to know the Mukumbarí cable car, that day the trip began at 7 AM, we bought the tickets and were all morning waiting for our turn in the square that was in front, where we talked and played "Uno" until about 12 o'clock where we could finally go up, everything was very nice, I really loved the last station, we were at 2 ° C, it was very cold, little by little we got to know the other stations.
El segundo día fue el más anhelado, ya que por fin iba a conocer el teleférico de Mukumbarí, ese día el viaje comenzó a las 7 AM, compramos los boletos y estuvimos toda la mañana esperando nuestro turno en la plaza que estaba al frente, donde platicamos y jugamos "Uno" hasta cerca de las 12 del día donde por fin pudimos subir, todo fue muy bonito, realmente me encantó la última estación, estábamos a 2°C, hacía mucho frío, poco a poco fuimos conociendo las demás estaciones.
Then we had to go down, we took the opportunity to eat some hamburgers and then we went to visit the famous "1000 Flavors Ice Cream Parlor", where I had the opportunity to try the cheese, polar, corn and carota ice cream, not at all common flavors in ice cream, and although they are not my favorite, it was good to live that experience in such a famous ice cream parlor. The second day we arrived earlier at the lodge, where we were able to share with everyone, playing dominoes and chatting.
Luego tuvimos que bajar, aprovechamos para comernos unas hamburguesas y luego fuimos a conocer la famosa “Heladería de los 1000 Sabores”, en la cual tuve la oportunidad de probar el helado de queso, polar, maíz y carota, sabores para nada habituales en un helado, y aunque no son mis favoritos, fue bueno vivir esa experiencia en tan famosa heladería. El segundo día llegamos más temprano a la posada, donde pudimos compartir con todos, jugando dominó y charlando.
The third and last day, we went to the Municipal Market, where there were many beautiful things, where we took the opportunity to buy several souvenirs. After that we went to the "Chorros de Milla Zoo", where we went all around the park watching the animals, and after that we went back home.
El tercer y último día, nos dirigimos hacia el Mercado Municipal, donde había muchas cosas hermosas, donde aprovechamos para comprar varios recuerditos. Después de eso nos fuimos al “Zoológico Chorros de Milla”, dónde nos recorrimos todo el parque viendo los animales, y luego de eso tomamos camino de regreso a casa.

Es un lugar muy bonito, tiene mucha variedad de naturaleza. La laguna debe estar helada, si es permitido bañarse creo que no me atrevería.
