Hola HIVE 💕 una vez me uno a esta linda iniciativa de #LadiesOfHive dónde vamos a demostrar que las mujeres somos poderosas. Este concurso saca lo mejor de cada una de nosotras, así que tendremos que responder y hablar de temas personales que te harán expresar tus mejores deseos y anhelos. Bienvenidos a mi participación...
1️⃣ If you could have any talent in the world, what would it be?
Without a doubt I would say that I would love to have the talent to sing. But since I am a mother and dedicated to the home, I feel that my talent in the kitchen is what should stand out the most in me. And it's not that I cook badly hahaha, but I don't think I'm a talent. Then I would change my desire and the talent of cooking would be the perfect one for me. I wish I could prepare delicious desserts, main dishes and all kinds of recipes but my biggest problem is that I hardly ever follow the recipes. I would love to easily and simply prepare delicious meals for my family and maybe even dedicate myself to that, I really like cooking and having a business in this area would be a dream. Food makes us happy, fills us with love, comforts us, makes us feel better and of course unites us. I would like to have the talent to transmit all that with my food and make many people happy with each bite. I would use my talent for good and to help others.
1️⃣ Si pudieras tener algún talento en el mundo, ¿cuál sería?
Sin dudas diría que me encantaría tener el talento de cantar. Pero desde que soy madre y me dedico al hogar, siento que mi talento en la cocina es lo que debería resaltar más en mi. Y no es que cocine mal jajaja, pero no creo que sea un talento. Entonces cambiaría mi deseo y el talento de cocinar seria el perfecto para mi. Quisiera poder preparar deliciosos postres, platos fuertes y de todo tipo de recetas pero mi mayor problema es que casi nunca sigo las recetas. Me encantaría preparar de manera fácil y sencilla comidas deliciosas para mi familia y quizás hasta dedicarme a eso, me gusta mucho cocinar y tener un negocio en este ámbito seria todo un sueño. La comida nos hace felices, nos llena de amor, nos reconforta, nos hace sentir mejores y por supuesto nos une. Quisiera tener el talento de transmitir todo eso con mi comida y hacer feliz a muchas personas en cada bocado. Utilizaría mi talento para el bien y para ayudar a otros.
2️⃣ What topic do you enjoy discussing and why?
I do not usually get into discussions or dilemmas of any kind, I am very calm and I avoid any confrontation with anyone. But there are healthy and necessary discussions and at this point I can only enjoy discussions that have to do with my area of expertise, Human Resources. I have very anchored points of view and strategies of my university education and my experience, so without a doubt they are points to discuss with great pleasure. We have different criteria when it comes to the selection of people, salaries, promotions, leadership of work teams, bonuses and basically working conditions. Here if I can be very hard to argue and of course, having studied and worked on this, I enjoy and appreciate it. Something positive comes out of every discussion and that is why they are so useful and necessary.
2️⃣ ¿Qué tema te gusta discutir y por qué?
No suelo entrar en discusiones ni en disyuntivas de ningún tipo, soy muy tranquila y evito cualquier confrontación con cualquier persona. Pero hay discusiones sanas y necesarias y en este punto solo puedo disfrutar las discusiones que tengan que ver con mi área de especialización, Recursos Humanos. Tengo puntos de vista y estrategias muy ancladas de mi educación universitaria y mi experiencia así que sin dudas son puntos a discutir con mucho agrado. Tenemos criterios distintos cuando se trata de la seleccion de personas, los sueldos, las promociones, el liderazgo de equipos de trabajo, gratificaciones y básicamente condiciones de trabajo. Aquí si puedo ser muy dura para discutir y por supuesto, habiendo estudiado y trabajado en esto, lo disfruto y lo aprecio. De cada discusión se saca algo positivo y por eso son tan útiles y necesarias.

Cultures, traditions and friendships seemed to center around shared meals and the art of Cooking is a big part pf it. From sumptuous banquets, receptions to simple Potlucks, food is a bridge to friendships. Something we miss due to this Covid19 pandemic.
