1️⃣ Were you a girlie-girl or a tomboy growing up? Or somewhere in-between? How about now? Do you like skirts, heels, & jewelry, or do you like jeans & t-shirt better?
I can say that I am a bit of everything, I am the younger sister and my brother was the one in charge of playing with me so I learned to kick balls, bat, ride a bicycle and skateboard, use the slingshot, I was his companion in games and adventures until the 8 and the scars on my legs are a reminder of that. At school I was the friend of the boys but shortly after I met the friends that I keep until now, with them came the color pink, magazines, platonic love, and little by little I became a girl very interested in fashion, jewelry and heels. I was a teenager and a young woman who went to the gym and took care to be well dressed, groomed and very combined, also that my work asked me but of course, when motherhood arrives, that spark is lost a bit. It's not that I don't like those things now, but I really love T-shirts, jeans, and sports shoes. I became a fan of this super comfortable style that can be super chic, fashionable and very pretty. I think at the end of the day I am a strange mix of everything.
1️⃣ ¿Eras una niña o una marimacho mientras crecía? ¿O en algún punto intermedio? ¿Que tal ahora? ¿Te gustan las faldas, los tacones y las joyas, o te gustan más los jeans y la camiseta?
Puedo decir que soy un poco de todo, soy la hermana menor y mi hermano era quien se encargaba de jugar conmigo así que aprendí a patear pelotas, batear, correr bicicleta y patineta, usar la resortera, fui su compañera de juegos y aventuras hasta los 8 y las cicatrices en mis piernas son un recordatorio de eso. En la escuela era la amiga de los varones pero poco después conocí a las amigas que hasta ahora conservo, con ellas llegó el color rosado, las revistas, el amor platónico, y poco a poco me fui volviendo una chica muy interesada en la moda, las joyas y los tacones. Fui una adolescente y una joven que iba al gimnasio y cuidada estar bien vestida, arreglada y muy combinada, además eso me pedía mi trabajo pero por supuesto, al llegar la maternidad se pierde un poco esa chispa. No es que ahora no me gusten esas cosas, pero la verdad amo las camisetas, los jeans y los zapatos deportivos. Me convertí en fanática de este estilo super cómodo y que puede ser super chic, a la moda y muy bonito. Creo que al fin de cuentas soy una mezcla extraña de todo.
2️⃣ What is one hobby or pastime that you always wanted to do, but never pursued? What has prevented you from trying it?
There are several things that I have always wanted to learn, but I think that the one I would have liked the most would be to learn a sport that allows me to play as a team such as Volleyball or Softball, it seems to me a great source of fun and energy, in addition to meeting people and forming a team. with other girls. The biggest impediment is that since school I have had problems with swollen glands in my wrists and they are small balls that appear and disappear, they cause me pain and I have not removed them yet. Also, I don't think I have that long or be good enough to be in a team haha. Besides that I would love to learn how to bake delicious cakes but cooking is not my thing either.
2️⃣ ¿Cuál es un pasatiempo o pasatiempo que siempre quisiste hacer, pero que nunca buscaste? ¿Qué te ha impedido probarlo?
Hay varias cosas que siempre he querido aprender, pero creo que la que más me hubiese gustado seria aprender algún deporte que me permita jugar en equipo como Voleibol o Sofbol, me parece una gran fuente de diversión y energía, además de conocer personas y formar equipo con otras chicas. El mayor impedimento es que desde el colegio he tenido problemas de ganglios inflamados en las muñecas y son pequeñas bolas que aparecen y desaparecen, me causan dolor y aun no las he extraído. Además no creo tener tanto tiempo ni ser tan buena como para estar en un equipo jaja. Además de eso me encantaría aprender a hornear deliciosos pasteles pero la cocina tampoco es lo mio.
