El día de hoy presento mi participación en el Ladies Of Hive Community Constest de esta semana y la primera de este año, luego de unas pequeñas vacaciones por las fiestas navideñas hoy retomo nuevamente esta linda iniciativa.

¿Qué canción o estilo de música te devuelve mejor recuerdo?
Sin duda alguna la música nos traen muchos recuerdos, por que tiene la capacidad de despertar en nosotros todos aquellos momentos que vivimos con solo escucharla. Con el simple hecho de escuchar alguna canción en el momento que estemos realizando alguna actividad o simplemente pasando el rato esa canción podría quedar en nuestros recuerdos y devolvernos a ese momento cuando la escuchemos la siguiente vez.
Without a doubt, music brings us many memories, because it has the ability to awaken in us all those moments that we live just by listening to it. With the simple fact of listening to a song while we are doing an activity or simply hanging out that song could remain in our memories and return us to that moment when we listen to it the next time.
Durante los últimos años he escuchado una gran cantidad de canciones, en busca de nueva música he encontrado mucha que me ha gustado y que sigo escuchando, gran parte de ellas me traen muchos recuerdos, pero hay unas en especial que despiertan en mi unos de los mejores momentos de mi vida y que hasta el día de hoy los sigo recordando como la primera vez, es casi como volver a vivir esos momentos cada vez que escucho esas canciones. Fue muy difícil elegir entre tantas canciones pero finalmente me decidí por las siguientes:
During the last years I have listened to a large number of songs, in search of new music I have found many that I liked and that I continue to listen to, most of them bring back many memories, but there are some in particular that awaken some of the best moments of my life and that to this day I still remember them as the first time, it's almost like reliving those moments every time I listen to those songs. It was very difficult to choose between so many songs but I finally decided on the following:
Canción: Talismán / Banda: Rata Blanca. || Song: Talisman / Band: White Rat.
Esta canción me lleva automáticamente al año 2014, año en el que comencé a vivir con mi pareja. Los primeros días fue un poco difícil adaptarnos a ese cambio que acabábamos de asumir. Sin embargo, comenzamos a hacer muchas cosas para pasar nuestro tiempo juntos y una de las cosas que más hacíamos era escuchar música, en aquel entonces ya estábamos cansados de las mismas canciones de siempre y comenzamos a escuchar música nueva hasta conseguir algo que nos gustara. Entre tantas bandas y canciones Rata Blanca fue lo mejor que pudimos escuchar y fue allí cuando descubrimos esta increíble banda. Nos gustó tanto que comenzamos a escuchar todas las canciones de esta banda y todas nos gustaron, a tal punto que apenas en unos días ya las sabíamos de memoria.
This song automatically takes me back to 2014, the year I started living with my partner. The first days it was a bit difficult to adapt to that change that we had just assumed. However, we began to do many things to spend our time together and one of the things we did most was listen to music, at that time we were already tired of the same old songs and we started listening to new music until we got something we liked. Among so many bands and songs Rata Blanca was the best we could hear and it was there when we discovered this incredible band. We liked it so much that we began to listen to all the songs of this band and we liked them all, to the point that just in a few days we already knew them by heart.
Justo por esas fechas la banda Rata Blanca vendría a presentarse en un concierto en Caracas, la ciudad capital de Venezuela, y por supuesto nosotros queríamos ir pero esa ciudad era muy lejos. Así que con algunos amigos acordamos viajar juntos para asistir al concierto, todo estaba planeado, faltando ya unos pocos días mi pareja y yo nos enfermamos de gripe y debido a eso tuvimos que cancelar el viaje, sin embargo, nuestros amigos si fueron y asistieron al concierto. A pesar de que no pudimos ir a ese concierto que tanto anhelábamos escuchar la banda Rata Blanca me trae buenos recuerdos, en especial la canción Talismán, ya que era la que más escuchábamos. Es una banda que tiene gran importancia para mi, pues marca el inicio de una nueva etapa en mi vida que sin duda es de las mejores experiencias que he vivido, gracias a esa banda descubrimos nuevas canciones y compartimos ese gusto en común que nos une y podemos disfrutar juntos.
Just around that time the band Rata Blanca would come to perform at a concert in Caracas, the capital city of Venezuela, and of course we wanted to go but that city was very far away. So with some friends we agreed to travel together to attend the concert, everything was planned, with a few days left my partner and I got sick with the flu and because of that we had to cancel the trip, however, our friends did go and attend the concert. Even though we couldn't go to that concert that we longed to hear so much, the band Rata Blanca brings me good memories, especially the song Talisman, since it was the one we listened to the most. It is a band that is of great importance to me, as it marks the beginning of a new stage in my life that is undoubtedly one of the best experiences I have ever had, thanks to that band we discover new songs and we share that common taste that unites us and we can enjoy together.
Canción: Square Hammer/ Banda: Ghost || Song: Square Hammer / Band: Ghost.
Esta es mi segunda canción favorita que me trae muchos buenos recuerdos, en este caso es un recuerdo más cercano, del año 2017. Nuevamente estábamos en búsqueda de nueva música para escuchar y descubrimos la banda Ghost. Específicamente la canción Square Hammerme trae muchos buenos recuerdos, pues para ese entonces estábamos planeando un viaje a la playa con la familia. Recuerdo que un día antes de viajar fuimos a hacer las últimas compras de las cosas necesarias para el viaje y aunque no era algo necesario recuerdo que compré un McFlurry de Flips en McDonal's, y lo iba comiendo de camino a casa.
This is my second favorite song that brings me many good memories, in this case it is a closer memory, of the year 2017. Again we were looking for new music to listen to and we discovered the band Ghost. Specifically the song Square Hammer brings me many good memories, because by then we were planning a trip to the beach with the family. I remember that one day before traveling we went to do the last purchases of the necessary things for the trip and although it was not necessary I remember that I bought a Flips McFlurry at McDonal's, and I was eating it on the way home.
Al día siguiente salimos muy temprano a la playa para aprovechar el día al máximo y durante todo el camino escuchábamos esa canción, esa que me trae tan buenos recuerdos de esos buenos tiempos, fue un increíble viaje y unas excelentes vacaciones, disfrutamos mucho y además de las fotografías que aún conservo de ese día nada me recuerda mejor a esas vacaciones que esta canción, que además de haber sido unas muy buenas vacaciones fue la última vez que fuimos a la playa.
The next day we went to the beach very early to make the most of the day and all the way we listened to that song, the one that brings back such good memories of those good times, it was an incredible trip and an excellent vacation, we enjoyed it a lot and besides The photographs that I still have from that day, nothing reminds me of that vacation better than this song, which apart from having been a very good vacation was the last time we went to the beach.
Al día de hoy es imposible escuchar esa canción sin recordar esa época y ese viaje, simplemente mi cerebro conectó esa canción con ese recuerdo. Me agrada el hecho de revivir recuerdos mediante canciones, solo con escucharlas podemos recordar cosas muy lindas que vivimos en algún momento de nuestras vidas que seguramente hemos dejado a un lado pero que gracias a esas canciones recordamos nuevamente.
To this day it is impossible to listen to that song without remembering that time and that trip, my brain simply connected that song with that memory. I like the fact of reliving memories through songs, just by listening to them we can remember very beautiful things that we live at some point in our lives that we have surely put aside but that thanks to those songs we remember again.
