Every year in June in the US and other communities around the world, the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities celebrate Pride month. Some people celebrate by attending rallies and parades, but everyone around here watches to see how the guys who live in this house will celebrate. They always do something grand!
I love seeing them have unapologetic pride and be true to themselves. The rainbow painted sidewalk leads to the front seps
We have all come a long way over the years in celebrating love, diversity, and equality! There simply can not be too much love in the world.

What a beautiful symbolism :) I love the rainbow colors they have made there, and the paint brush, wow!
Isn't it cool the way that it looks like the paint is dripping off the brush and running down the sidewalk? It must have taken so much time and work create that entire scene! Not to mention how scary it would be to be attaching that giant paintbrush up on that roof.
It is amazing! The one who made it is very creative to have thought to do it that way. One that isn't afraid of heights must have done it hehe

Generally I do not have problems with them. They are fine, as long as they are not trying to force their views and their sexual orientations on others. Everyone have the right to be happy as a lesbian/gay/whatever, but no one have the right to force this on others (some people are trying).
And being lesbian/gay/whatever alone is not a reason to be proud, but not a shame either. It depends on the feelings of the individual. That should determine everyone's sexual identity. Some people are attracted to both genders. That is also fine, as long as it is natural, genuine, and not forced. And everyone should be accepted, as they are.

We have some pretty amazing Pride Parades in our town.
but then again, our town has some Pretty Amazing Pride, 24/7, 365!
Sounds like a fun place to live. I have attended some marvelous catered parties that a friend and his partner host every year on the rooftop of their downtown shop. The price of admission is to bring a toy to donate to give to children at Christmas, and people come bringing laundry baskets full of new toys. It's pretty amazing.
Not sure if you know, But, I work in the Special Events Business. For years, one of my larger events, and mroe fun, was a similar Pride Event, in a castle! Price of Admission was either a toy, or box of pasta, cans of tomato soup, etc.
It was a HUGE extravaganza! HUGE dance floor we build, big performance stages, and of course, lots of cool lighting, video, and sound, for the PARTY!
I didn't know that... That must have been so much fun! But where did you find a castle? 🤔

I read that it is because LGBT people come in all races, ages and genders, and rainbows are as natural and beautiful as the people are.

This is really beautiful😮...I like how creative and expressive they are with everything. I also prefer the paint brush decor from last year. the way the brush bristles blended with the stringy things and then with the walkway is spectacular. I'm curious though, do they repaint the walkway when june ends? I can imagine it's a lot of work and I admire their dedication to doing it every year...I'm here through dreemport😊
It appears to me that they intend to have a rainbow painted sidewalk, permanently! Whatever paint they used is holding up well to snow shoveling in the winter
