Hola a todas las increíbles mujeres que hacen vida en esta gran comunidad de Ladies Of Hive, es un placer para mí estar por primera vez compartiendo con ustedes, en esta ocasión vengo con un post sobre la iniciativa de @ladiesofhive, espero que les guste ♥️☺️
Todos hemos visto las casas y los jardines de nuestros vecinos bellamente decorados durante las fiestas. La decoración navideña elaborada, tanto en interiores como en exteriores, puede ser divertida o un quebradero de cabeza. ¿Qué consejo le daría a un decorador primerizo?:
Ver las decoraciones de Navidad siempre ha sido divertido para mí, desde muy pequeña mi mamá siempre se encargó de comprar y armar cosas muy bonitas que conseguíamos en tiendas, nos volvíamos locos por todos los adornos, luces, lazos, árboles, y otros objetos como muñecos y hasta pijamas de navidad. Aún nos tomamos el tiempo unos días antes de diciembre para comenzar a armar el arbolito, ponerle sus luces, bolas decorativas de diferentes colores, estrellas, cintas para que el árbol luzca más bonito y tenemos muñecos de nieve y pequeños santas que también colocamos en el arbol de navidad. Decoramos la mesa del comedor con un mantel de navidad y las sillas también llevan cojines rojos con árboles. La entrada de nuestro hogar no puede pasar desapercibido y también colocamos una especie de corona en el centro con flores navideñas y queda hermoso. Mi consejo para los que les gusta la decoración es que se dejen llevar por su creatividad sin importar si tienen muchas o pocas cosas para decorar, lo importante es ponerle cariño a lo que se está haciendo y los resultados terminarán siendo muy agradables y hasta cambiará nuestro ánimo al despertar cada día y ver qué hemos logrado vivir un año más y tenemos la fortuna de tener un hogar y una familia a nuestro lado.
¿Cuál es tu fórmula para controlar el estrés y agobiarte, si lo has experimentado, durante las fiestas navideñas?:
El estrés si está presente en esta época navideña debido a que muchas personas tal vez no están pasando por situaciones fáciles de sobrellevar, como estar enfermo o no sentirte feliz con la época. Pero hay que verle el lado positivo y disfrutar de los paisajes, el clima y el calor de hogareño. Yo en lo personal me gusta arreglarme, vestirme con la ropa que tenga, sin importar si es nueva o no, hablar con mi familia en la casa y si se puede comer algo delicioso. Aquí en Venezuela se celebra el 24 de diciembre y hasta se obsequian regalos a los niños y entre la familia, se toma una bebida que se llama "Ponche de Crema", se comen hallacas que son hechas de harina de maíz y lleva de relleno un rico guiso con muchas cosas para rellenar, es realmente delicioso. Algo que si me da tristeza es la falta de un familiar muy querido que ya no está en este plano terrenal que es mi abuela, en fechas como estás se añora mucho estar con los seres que se fueron a un lugar mejor y eso da nostalgia pero hay que celebrar a las personas que aún tenemos a nuestro lado y que aún tenemos una nueva oportunidad de compartir y ser felices.

We've all seen our neighbors' homes and lawns beautifully decorated during the holidays. Elaborate holiday decorating, both indoors and outdoors can be either fun or a headache. What advice would you give to a first-time decorator?:
Seeing Christmas decorations has always been fun for me, since I was very little my mom always took care of buying and putting together very nice things that we got in stores, we went crazy for all the ornaments, lights, ribbons, trees, and other items like dolls and even Christmas pajamas. We still take the time a few days before December to start putting up the tree, putting up the lights, decorative balls of different colors, stars, ribbons to make the tree look prettier and we have snowmen and little Santas that we also put on the Christmas tree. We decorate the dining table with a Christmas tablecloth and the chairs also have red cushions with trees. The entrance of our home can not go unnoticed and we also place a kind of wreath in the center with Christmas flowers and it looks beautiful. My advice for those who like decorating is to let your creativity take over regardless of whether you have many or few things to decorate, the important thing is to put love to what you are doing and the results will end up being very nice and even change our mood when we wake up every day and see that we have managed to live another year and we are fortunate to have a home and a family by our side.
What is your formula for managing stress and becoming overwhelmed, if you've experienced it, during the holiday season?:
Stress is present during the holiday season because many people may not be going through situations that are easy to cope with, such as being sick or not feeling happy with the season. But you have to look on the bright side and enjoy the scenery, the weather and the warmth of home. Personally, I like to dress up, dress with the clothes I have, no matter if they are new or not, talk with my family at home and if I can eat something delicious. Here in Venezuela we celebrate December 24 and we even give gifts to the children and among the family, we drink a drink called "Ponche de Crema", we eat hallacas which are made of corn flour and it is filled with a delicious stew with many things to fill it with, it is really delicious. Something that makes me sad is the lack of a very dear family member who is no longer on this earthly plane, my grandmother, on dates like these we long to be with those who went to a better place and that gives nostalgia but we must celebrate the people we still have by our side and that we still have a new opportunity to share and be happy.
