Hola amigos, me complace participar en el concurso organiza ladies of Hive, esta semana nos pregunta: ¿Cuál es tu canción romántica favorita? o ¿Cómo llegó a encontrar y unirse a la plataforma de blogs Hive? ¿Y en qué te benefició?

Today I will talk about my favorite song. I love music and since I was little it has been part of my life, I had the opportunity to do theater as a child where music was part of the work, because they were stories that were told through their music and dances.

Hoy les hablare de mi canción favorita. Me encanta la música y desde pequeña ha formado parte de mi vida, tuve la oportunidad de hacer teatro de pequeña en donde la música era parte de la obra, porque eran historias que se contaban a través de su música y bailes.

To be honest, I have many favorite songs that throughout my life have marked different stages of my life, but the one I chose for this contest is one in particular that both its lyrics and its music through the guitar brings me and places me in a wonderful time of my life. Listening to it is like traveling back in time when you first heard it with a group of friends on a 1992 college trip, when you are at the age where you go from adolescence to adulthood. A trip where I shared experiences, camaraderie and healthy and beautiful fun with a group of people who are still in contact today and are friends.

Para hacerles honesta tengo muchas canciones favoritas que a lo largo de mi vida han marcado diferentes etapas de mi vida, pera la que escogí para este concurso es una en particular que tanto su letra como su música a través de la guitarra me trae y sitúa en un momento maravilloso de mi vida. Al escucharla es como viajar en el tiempo cuando la escuche la primera vez con un grupo de amigos en un viaje de la universidad 1992, cuando estas en la edad en donde pasas de la adolescencia a la adultez. Un viaje en donde compartí experiencias, camaradería y diversión sana y linda con un grupo de personas que aún hoy seguimos en contacto y somos amigos.

The song I'm talking about is "More Than Words", a song by the group Extreme, who released it on their second album titled "Extreme II: Pornograffiti." It is a powerful song about a boy who loves a girl, but wants him to show it with deeds and not words. This song peaked at number 1 on the Billboard Hot chart in the first half of 1991.

La canción de la que hablo es “More Than Words”, una canción del grupo Extreme, quien la lanzaron en su segundo álbum titulado “Extreme II: Pornograffiti”. Es una canción poderosa que trata de un chico que ama a una chica, pero quiere que se lo demuestre con hechos y no con palabras. Esta canción se situó en la numero 1 en la cartelera Billboard Hot, en el primer semestre 1991.
