Hello friends, it is a pleasure for me to participate in this wonderful Ladies of Hive contest that brings us every week, the questions are: If you could have any talent in the world, what would it be? Or what topic do you like to discuss and why?
I chose the question of if I could have a talent it would be to be able to play all the instruments that I love to listen to such as: the piano, the drums, the cello and the violin. I love music and since I was little I improvised with kitchen pots to play the drums, for that reason, after much insistence, my father enrolled me in a four-string academy on an instrument from my country that consists of 4 strings, hence its name four.
Hola amigos, es un placer para mi participar en este maravilloso concurso de Ladies of Hive que cada semana nos trae, las preguntas son: Si pudieras tener algún talento en el mundo, ¿Cuál sería? O ¿Qué tema te gusta discutir y por qué?
Elegí la pregunta de si pudiera tener un talento sería poder tocar todos los instrumentos que me encantan escuchar como: el piano, la batería, el violonchelo y el violín. Me encanta la música y desde pequeña improvisaba con las ollas de cocina tocar la batería, por esa razón luego de mucho insistir mi papa me inscribió en una academia de cuatro en un instrumento de mi país que consta de 4 cuerdas de allí su nombre cuatro.
For a year I was in the academy studying music theory and music for four, but having small fingers hurt the strings a lot when playing them, which was painful for me and my parents decided to remove me from the academy, a decision in which I agreed.
Maybe I was very young and that instrument was not the right one for me, but for a long time I did not want to know anything about musical instruments. Not for that reason my taste and passion for music diminished, but for a long time I stopped trying to play or look for another instrument.
Durante un año estuve en la academia estudiando solfeo y música para cuatro, pero por tener dedos pequeños me lastimaban mucho las cuerdas a tocarlas, lo cual era doloroso para mí y mis padres decidieron sacarme de la academia, decisión en la cual estuve de acuerdo.
Tal vez era muy joven y ese instrumento no era el adecuado para mí, pero por mucho tiempo no quise saber nada de instrumentos musicales. No por eso mi gusto y pasión por la música disminuyo, pero por largo tiempo deje de intentar tocar o buscar otro instrumento.
At the university I joined the cultural groups that made life in the theater, choir and painting, this fueled my desire to play an instrument again and in an informal and self-taught way I learned to play the drum, I am not the best, but I defend myself . I don't have the talent as some people I know have to play any instrument just by ear without any formal learning, they are people with innate talent.
Today if I could choose to learn an instrument, I would choose the drums without hesitation. I don't know if I can learn to play this instrument, but I would surely have fun and drive my neighbors crazy.
En la universidad me uní a los grupos culturales que hacían vida en el teatro, orfeón y pintura, esto avivo mis ganas de volver a tocar algún instrumento y de manera informal y autodidacta aprendí a tocar el tambor, no soy la mejor, pero me defiendo. No tengo el talento como lo tienen algunas personas que conozco para tocar cualquier instrumento solo por oído sin ningún aprendizaje formal, son personas con talento innato.
Hoy si pudiera escoger aprender un instrumento elegiría sin dudarlo la batería, no se si logre aprender a tocar este instrumento, pero seguro me divertiría y volvería locos a mis vecinos.
