A new contest from the community (Ladies of Hive) ... I will choose to answer the question, What is your favorite room?, and I will share with you some pictures that one day were part of my life
Like any girl, I dreamed of owning a room, the size of which does not matter, but I wish that its walls were colored in pink, that its windows looked out onto the garden, and that I put some plants on the windows because I love taking care of plants.
I never dreamed of having extravagant dresses or various make-up, not even modern furniture with lots of decorations.
My father used to tell me that my thinking is different from my two sisters. I have two sisters who love clothes and make-up, but I never used make-up tools ... I always liked to be simple in my appearance and in my clothes.
I used to share a room with my two sisters in the house, which consisted of 4 rooms, and we were feeling happy together .. We used to stay up all night and laughed, but each of us had different interests.
After my house was destroyed by the Israeli bombing in 2014 I lost a lot of the things that were dear to my heart in the house, I felt like I lost my soul and not just my childhood memories ...
When my father rebuilt the house, I asked him to have the color of the walls of our room painted pink ... Although I was studying at the university, I never gave up the dream that my room was colored in pink ... my father agreed, and after months both my brother and sister got married and my sister moved To live with her husband while my brother rented a house in order to be independent in it .. With this, my younger sister moved to another room, and then I stayed in my room with walls painted in pink.
At that time, I felt that I was somewhat independent..I could put pictures on the walls..I could make some simple decorations..and I could put bookshelves ... the books are my life.
I had a habit when I was a kid which was collecting small things ... colored pebbles ... shells ... small artificial roses ... colored lamps ... I had a box in which to collect all these things
I started making nice decorations as I love handicrafts .. Unlike my sisters, they consider these things are for children only..I used to spend most of the day in my room making different shapes every day .. And the funny thing is that when my father was looking for a hammer or screwdriver and did not find them he used to come to my room and he finds me working by using them .. He always liked to see what I do and encouraged me to complete what I love .. But I traveled and left all these things behind .. I left my room, my handicrafts and my little dreams ..
