In advance a big greeting to all these ladies who make life in this beautiful community. Every week motivates to participate in the contest, with such great questions and I know that we answer them with the heart, this time I will be participating in the contest # 62, giving answers to the questions.
Navidad, navidad, su llegada refleja alegría, compartir con familiares, hijos, hijas , nietos y sobre con los padres, con los viejos de la casa. A la verdad me gustaría viajar a Colombia, ya que allá tengo viviendo a mi hija con mi nieto, yerno, pero la circunstancia de no tener el pasaje, me detiene, por igual ella. En todas las navidades me quedo con mis padres, ya que ellos esperan a sus hijas y nietos y que mas queremos. Disfrutar estos momentos, nos hace sentir mas unidos, en la unión esta la fuerza.
Viajar en estos momentos de navidad seria de emoción, ver a mi hija, pero llegaras el momento. Tengo dos hijos mas y un esposo que están con mucha alegría, con los preparativos de la cena navideña y se siente ese amor, compresión, fe, de que pronto viajaremos o mi hija llegaras a Venezuela otra vez. Mi madre como siempre quiere a sus hijas con ella y no las quieres lejos.
Siempre llegara el momento de realizar un viaje así lo creo en estas navidades.
Christmas, Christmas, its arrival reflects joy, sharing with relatives, sons, daughters, grandchildren and above all with parents, with the old people at home. To tell the truth I would like to travel to Colombia, since there I have my daughter living with my grandson, son-in-law, but the circumstance of not having the ticket, stops me, just like her. Every Christmas I stay with my parents, since they are waiting for their daughters and grandchildren and what else do we want. Enjoying these moments, makes us feel more united, in the union is the strength.
Traveling at this time of Christmas would be a thrill, to see my daughter, but the time will come. I have two more children and a husband who are with great joy, with the preparations for Christmas dinner and you feel that love, compression, faith, that soon we will travel or my daughter will arrive in Venezuela again. My mother as always wants her daughters with her and does not want them far away.
There will always come a time to make a trip, I think so this Christmas.

Sin duda, mi comida favorita es la hallaca, su sabor, sazón, cocción es única y como no cocinar este plato navideño. Siempre nos reunimos a la compra de los ingredientes y su preparación, ese momento es único porque todos ayudamos, unidos. Una de los ingredientes que me gusta son las pasas, no puede faltar.
Esta preparación viene de generación en generación. Mi abuela siempre nos reunía nada mas a comer a sus nietas y nietos, las cocinaba en un fogón y entres chistes, risas, compartimos esa rica, deliciosa hallaca. Ver las manos de mi madre prepararla y todas sus hijas presente nos da nostalgia y cariño. Disfrutamos amasando, extendiendo la masa, en la hoja y amarrarla para la cocción. Y contando que no falte ninguna hallaca, sino que sobre.
Compartir con mis colegas este rico plato navideño, es símbolo de festividad, unión, alegría.
Undoubtedly, my favorite food is the hallaca, its flavor, seasoning, cooking is unique and how not to cook this Christmas dish. We always get together to buy the ingredients and its preparation, that moment is unique because we all help, united. One of the ingredients that I like are raisins, you can't miss them.
This preparation comes from generation to generation. My grandmother always gathered us to eat with her granddaughters and grandsons, she cooked them in a fire and between jokes, laughter, we shared that rich, delicious hallaca. Seeing my mother's hands preparing it and all her daughters present gives us nostalgia and affection. We enjoy kneading, rolling out the dough on the sheet and tying it for baking. And counting that no hallaca is missing, but rather that there is enough left over.
Sharing this delicious Christmas dish with my colleagues is a symbol of festivity, union and joy.

Hello @nubra11. Yes, traveling is nice when you have family out of town you want to visit. I can understand you wanting to visit your daughter and grandchild. How you describe making the traditional hallaca is lovely. I can imagine a dish where everyone is involved in its creation and completion.
