1️⃣ ¿Te gusta viajar durante las vacaciones o quedarte cerca de casa?

Well, I confess that on vacations I prefer to stay at home because I like to share in family privacy, at Christmas I don't know what traditions are like in other countries but in many homes in Venezuela we celebrate the spirit of Christmas together as a family, especially on December 21 At home we organize ourselves to do the special cleaning with tangerine or sandalwood essences in order to give a spiritual aroma that connects us with the most pleasant emotions on Christmas Eve.
Pues confieso que en vacaciones prefiero quedarme en casa porque me gusta compartir en intimidad familiar, en navidad no sé cómo son las tradiciones en otros países pero en muchos hogares de Venezuela celebramos el espíritu de la navidad reunidos en familia, sobre todo el 21 de diciembre en casa nos organizamos para hacer la limpieza especial con esencias de mandarina o sándalo con el objetivo de dar un aroma espiritual que nos conecta con las más agradables emociones en vísperas de navidad.

We set the scene with music, of course with the traditional bagpipe that characterizes our country, it is time to be happy, leave everyday worries aside and load ourselves with all the magic that naturally surrounds us in this time of love, peace and reconciliation. Enjoy everything that is beautiful in our environment, the lights, the crib, the golden star at the top of the tree, the walls with a new color, the children playing, everything that makes the illusion grow, the hope of having a New Year's Eve in harmony.
Ambientamos con música, por supuesto con la tradicional gaita que caracteriza nuestro país, es momento de estar alegres, dejar a un ladito las preocupaciones cotidianas y cargarnos de toda la magia que nos envuelve naturalmente en esta época de amor, paz y reconciliación. Disfrutar de todo lo bonito que hay en nuestro entorno, las luces, el pesebre, la estrella dorada en lo más alto del árbol, las paredes con un nuevo color, los niños jugando, todo lo que hace crecer la ilusión, la esperanza de tener un fin de año en armonía.

We put all the effort and joy in decorating the table where we will enjoy Christmas dinner, delighting each step of the process, choosing the tablecloth that comes first, then the colorful plates, also the necessary cutlery for special occasions, and the glasses that glimpse the wonderful New year's sparkling toast. That is why I prefer to stay at home, the Christmas holidays have always been a good reason to get together as a family to celebrate and fine-tune the details together for the “Baby Jesus” dinner.
Ponemos todo el esfuerzo y la alegría decorando la mesa donde disfrutaremos la cena navideña, deleitando cada paso del proceso, elegir el mantel que es lo primero, luego los platos coloridos, también los cubiertos necesarios para ocasiones especiales, y las copas que vislumbran el maravilloso brindis espumoso de fin de año. Por eso prefiero quedarme en casa, las vacaciones navideñas siempre han sido un buen motivo para reunirnos en familia a celebrar y afinar los detalles juntos para la cena del “Niño Jesús”.

Well, I think the first question is already answered, now we move on to the second. Ladies of Hive wants to know:
2️⃣ What is your favorite holiday food, and why?
My favorite Christmas food, as is the tradition in Venezuela, is the wonderful Hallaca accompanied by the famous ham bread and chicken salad because without hesitation, this food delights the palate. Also because the preparation requires teamwork and that unites us more to carry out a delicious family activity in this case.
Bien, creo que ya está respondida la primera pregunta, ahora pasamos a la segunda. Damas de la Colmena quiere saber:
2️⃣ ¿Cuál es tu comida navideña favorita y por qué?
Mi comida navideña favorita, como es tradición en Venezuela, es la maravillosa hallaca acompañada del famoso pan de jamón y ensalada de gallina porque sin dudarlo, esta comida deleita el paladar. También porque la preparación requiere trabajo en equipo y eso nos une más a realizar una actividad familiar deliciosa en este caso.

Hello @rosmerby. You have a lovely family to enjoy during the holidays. I've read so much about the Hallaca that I now understand how important it is to your culture's holiday. I love the way the chicken salad is decorated. And of course, I love egg in my chicken salad. You decorate beautifully your home for the holidays. I've not thought of sandalwood and tangerine as a household cleaner and freshner. Thanks for the tip.
