Hello to all the members of the #ladiesofhive community. I am honored to close the penultimate day of the year by posting my participation in initiative #114 of this community. Hice mi mejor trabajo de investigación buscando información sobre el embarazo, la maternidad, el post-parto y la crianza pero todo giró entorno a unas sabias palabras que me dijo una amiga: "Relájate. La maternidad es totalmente intuitiva. Tu bebé te irá mostrando que quiere y necesita". Agradeceré a mi amiga toda la vida por estas hermosas palabras que se quedarán grabadas en mi memoria hasta que Dios lo permita.

I won't deny that when I found out I was pregnant I was a nervous wreck. I had no doubts about loving my growing baby, but I did have a lot of questions. I did my best research work looking for information on pregnancy, motherhood, postpartum and parenting but it all revolved around some wise words a friend told me: "Relax. Motherhood is totally intuitive. Your baby will be showing you what she wants and needs." I will thank my friend for the rest of my life for these beautiful words that will remain etched in my memory for as long as God allows.

Desde que Maximiliano entró en mi vida he aprendido a trabajar un poco más la paciencia y he dejado de perder el tiempo en banalidades y cosas superfluas. Dedicarme a él 24/7 ha sido un trabajo duro pero reconfortante porque no me he perdido ni un segundo de su crecimiento y como madre, para mí ha sido un hermoso regalo de la vida.

Since Maximiliano came into my life I have learned to work a little more on patience and I have stopped wasting time on banalities and superfluous things. My world revolves around his happiness, well-being and care. I have dedicated every second of my presence at his side to make him totally happy and it is a fact that I enjoy very much. Dedicating myself to him 24/7 has been hard work but comforting because I have not missed a second of his growth and as a mother, for me it has been a beautiful gift of life.

Estoy agradecida con Dios por haberme elegido como su madre. Maximiliano es el primer nieto por parte de la familia de mi esposo y el quinto por parte de mi familia. Ha llegado a nuestras vidas para ponerle pausa a las correderas y sentarnos simple y detenidamente a observar y disfrutar de las pequeñas cosas de la vida. Con cada hazaña que descubre, nos regala sonrisas que nos alegran el espíritu. I am grateful to God for choosing me as his mother. Maximiliano is the first grandchild on my husband's side of the family and the fifth on my family's side. He has come into our lives to pause the sliders and sit simply and carefully to observe and enjoy the little things in life. With each feat he discovers, he gives us smiles that brighten our spirits. Even though his arrival in this world was quite tedious because I had to deal with preeclampsia and gestational diabetes, my baby has arrived as a little light of hope to fill our hearts with lots of love, learning and patience ❤️ He is my greatest joy of this year and the years to come with God's favor.
