¡Hola a todas las mujeres de esta maravillosa comunidad! Me animé a participar ésta semana en el concurso, con la segunda de las preguntas. Y es que, he encontrado una actividad que me ha permitido despejar un poco la mente de mis labores diarias.
Hello to all the women of this wonderful community! I decided to participate this week in the contest, with the second of the questions. And it is that, I have found an activity that has allowed me to clear my mind a little of my daily tasks.
¿Qué sueles hacer para divertirte y con qué frecuencia lo haces?
Dado que el tiempo del cual dispongo, es algo escaso, las actividades que me gustan hacer como dibujar, escribir o jugar videojuegos o incluso, ver una serie, he tenido que limitarlas a hacerlas una vez por semana (si acaso). Pero, he encontrado una actividad nueva que no sólo me permite abarcar una de mis cosas favoritas, si no que puedo realizarla en cualquier momento, incluso mientras estoy trabajando y esa es: El roleplay.
What do you usually do for fun and how often do you do them?
Since the time I have is somewhat scarce, the activities I like to do like drawing, writing or playing video games or even watching a series, I have had to limit them to once a week (if ever). But, I have found a new activity that not only allows me to cover one of my favorite things, but that I can do it at any time, even while I'm working and that is: Roleplay.
Pero se preguntaran ¿Y eso qué es? Bueno ¿Algunas vez han oído hablar del juego calabozos y dragones? En él, varias personas toman el papel de un personajes con sus diferentes características y habilidades, sorteando los obstáculos que impone el amo del juego. Utilizando dados, figuras y cualquier otra cosa que ayude a adentrarse en la fantasía. Así como ese, hay diferentes tipos de juegos. Hay quienes les gusta disfrazarse y hacerlo más interactivo, incluso habiendo reuniones de los mismos, tipo eventos, en los que hacen representaciones de batallas y cosas por el estilo.
But you may wonder, what is that? Well, have you ever heard of the game dungeons and dragons? In it, several people take on the role of a character with their different characteristics and abilities, overcoming the obstacles imposed by the master of the game. Using dice, figures and anything else that helps to get into the fantasy. Just like that, there are different types of games. There are those who like to dress up and make it more interactive, even having meetings of the same, such as events, in which they make representations of battles and things like that.
Pero, no se crean que yo me la paso reunida con gente en mi casa, jugando por horas a que andamos de aventuras por un mundo fantástico. Es algo que me gustaría experimentar, eso si. Pero el roleplay del cual puedo disponer debido a mi estilo de vida, es totalmente virtual, más específicamente vía Whatsapp o Messenger. De modo que, busco grupos ambientadas en alguna serie de televisión, libro o película y procedo a tomar el personaje de mi preferencia, ya dentro del grupo, actuó como el personaje en cuestión.
But don't think that I spend hours meeting with people in my house, playing for hours that we are adventuring through a fantastic world. It is something that I would like to experience, yes. But the roleplay that I can have due to my lifestyle is totally virtual, more specifically via Whatsapp or Messenger. So, I look for groups set in a television series, book or movie and I proceed to take the character of my preference, already within the group, he acted as the character in question.
Es algo que me agrada bastante, ya que por lo general, los grupos en los que me he unido, la trama es libre, así que teniendo ya el personaje, puedo hacer con él lo que prefiera. Lo que más me gusta, es conseguir una buena pareja de rol y armar juntos, una trama que nos entretenga a ambos. Esa es mi parte favorita, fabricar todos los pormenores de cada historia e irla llevando poco a poco. Es como si entre dos personas, escribiesen una pequeña obra de teatro y como me encanta escribir, no miento al decir que quedé cautivada con lo que se puede lograr con éste tipo de roleplay.
It is something that I quite like, since in general, the groups in which I have joined, the plot is free, so having the character, I can do with him what I prefer. What I like the most is getting a good role-playing partner and putting together a plot that entertains us both. That's my favorite part, making all the details of each story and taking it little by little. It is as if between two people, they were writing a small play and since I love writing, I am not lying when I say that I was captivated with what can be achieved with this type of roleplay.
Hay quienes crean sus propios personajes, yo hasta los momentos, suelo utilizar los ya existentes de alguna serie. Me gusta mucho utilizar Whatsapp para ello, ya que te permite la utilización de stickers e imágenes, para hacer todo mucho más interactivo. Sin mencionar que te permite hacer amigos. Desde que empecé en el mundo del rol (apenas hace unos cuantos meses atrás), tengo con quién hablar a lo largo del día, ya no me siento tan solitaria e incluso, estos amigos del mundo del rol, me han ayudado bastante en esos momentos en los que me he sentido con los ánimos decaídos. Se pueden conocer muy buenas personas y llegar a entablar amistad, sobre todo para las personas que somos algo tímidas para ello.
There are those who create their own characters, until now, I usually use the existing ones from some series. I really like using WhatsApp for this, since it allows you to use stickers and images, to make everything much more interactive. Not to mention that it allows you to make friends. Since I started in the world of role-playing (just a few months ago), I have someone to talk to throughout the day, I don't feel so lonely anymore and even these friends from the world of role-playing have helped me a lot in those moments in which I have felt downhearted. You can meet very good people and become friends, especially for people who are somewhat shy about it.
Antes de conocer el rol, admito que sentía que estaba demasiado metida en mis obligaciones. Ahora, puedo apartarme un momento de mi agitado mundo para meterme en alguna historia y sólo me toma contestar un mensaje je je Realmente me divierte bastante, sobretodo cuando las historias que he pensado con las otras personas, nos enamoran. Before learning about the role, I admit I felt like I was too into my duties. Now, I can take a moment away from my hectic world to get into a story and it only takes me to answer a message hehe It really amuses me a lot, especially when the stories I have thought up with other people make us fall in love. Una forma muy original de divertirte. He oido de Calabozos y Dragones, pero nunca lo he jugado y eso de entrar en grupos y tomar un rol, me parece algo fantástico! muy buena forma de divertirse

Yo tampoco je tenido la oportunidad de jugar calabozos y dragones, pero con el poco tiempo que llevo roleando virtualmente, confieso que es bastante adictivo y más si es sobre alguna serie que te tiene vicioso je je espero que tengas la oportunidad de unirte a alguno.
