Hoy complacida en participar en una nueva edición del concurso semanal de Ladies of Hive, en el cual me emociona realizar porque corresponde hablar sobre preguntas interesantes. Definitivamente me gusta mucho la navidad y todo lo relacionado. Aquí les dejo mi entrada y espero que les guste.
Today I am pleased to participate in a new edition of the weekly contest of Ladies of Hive, in which I am excited to do because it corresponds to talk about interesting questions. I definitely love Christmas and everything related to it. Here is my entry and I hope you like it.
¿Le gusta viajar durante las vacaciones o quedarse cerca de casa? | Do you like to travel during the holidays, or stay close to home ?
Estamos en navidad, época de compartir en familia y calor de hogar donde la pasamos, para así celebrar estas festividades, todos nos reunimos con la idea de expresar amor, unión, paz y fraternidad, por lo tanto es el momento perfecto para afianzar estos lazos y valores. Por eso cuando llega estas fechas de vacaciones me gusta estar en casa con mis seres queridos.
We are in Christmas, time to share with family and warmth of home where we spend it to celebrate these festivities, we all gather with the idea of expressing love, unity, peace and brotherhood, so it is the perfect time to strengthen these ties and values. That's why when the vacations arrive I like to be at home with my loved ones.
Una de mis pasiones es viajar, me gusta conocer muchos lugares y cosas nuevas, para mi es una terapia que me alimenta el espíritu, pero cuando llega las vacaciones decembrina, en lo particular me gusta mucho quedarme en casa con mi familia, porque es época de unión y hermandad entre todos, y así puedo hacer muchas cosas en casa junto a mis seres queridos demostrando una unión familiar.
En el momento de decorar la casa con los adornos navideños, colocamos el árbol, en cuanto el plato navideño todos colaboramos para las compras de los alimentos y todos preparamos la comida. Luego compartir la cena y entre músicas y bailes hacemos un parrandón que le da la simbología verdadera de esta época.
One of my passions is traveling, I like to know many places and new things, for me it is a therapy that feeds my spirit, but when the Christmas vacations come, I particularly like to stay at home with my family, because it is a time of union and brotherhood among all, and so I can do many things at home with my loved ones showing a family togetherness.
At the time of decorating the house with Christmas decorations, we put up the tree with my sisters, as for the Christmas plate we all collaborate for the food shopping and we all prepare the food. Then we share the dinner and between music and dances we make a parrandón that gives the true symbolism of this time of the year.
¿ Cuál es su comida favorita para las fiestas y por qué ?| What is your favorite holiday food, and why?
Mi país se caracteriza por tener uno de los mejores platos navideños, ya que es muy completo con variedad de ingredientes, así que todo lo que lleva este plato me gusta, empezando con la popular hallaca que se prepara paso a paso es todo un proceso, pero en mi familia todos colaboramos en su elaboración, lleva muchos ingredientes y su sazón es único, mucha gente al consumirla le saca algún ingrediente, sean las alcaparras, pasitas o aceitunas, yo adoro todo eso, así que me la como completica.
De segundo esta la ensalada de pollo o gallina, realizada con papas, zanahorias podemos agregarle otro ingrediente como cebolla, guisantes, maíz, palmitos y manzana, si puedo agregarle todo eso la hace mas suculenta y completa, y su aderezo de mayonesa, sal y mostaza sabe deliciosa.
My country is characterized by having one of the best Christmas dishes, as it is very complete with a variety of ingredients, so I like everything that takes this dish, starting with the popular hallacas that is prepared step by step is a whole process, but in my family we all collaborate in its preparation, takes many ingredients and its seasoning is unique, many people when consuming it takes out some ingredient, whether capers, raisins or olives, I love all that, so I eat it complete.
For the second course is the chicken salad, made with potatoes and carrots, we can add other ingredients such as onions, peas, corn, palm hearts and apples, if I can add all that makes it more succulent and complete, and its dressing of mayonnaise, salt and mustard tastes delicious.
There is also the succulent pork leg that we prepare it baked only with salt and oregano, and this takes an exquisite flavor, I add olives, raisins, capers and orange juice, it is all a temptation and finally the ham bread with lots of smoked ham and raisins, bacon and olives, with a slice of this rich bread completes the Venezuelan Christmas dish, so I love this dish with all those ingredients that for me makes it the best dish on the planet.
